#2 Posted: 8/28/2012 7:11:42 PM You are not alone. Michigan's D-line stands no chance at stopping the best O-line in the country. Add in that Saban has had 8 or so months to prepare for Mr Robinson. |

#4 Posted: 8/28/2012 7:31:19 PM Michigan middle d line weigh 608 pounds combined! Not exactly easy to move! One five star and four star. Explain to me how bama is not getting way to much hype! Bloodbath not possible! Bama covering yes! But dont under estimate michigan who does have a pretty solid coachong staff! Calling hoke ugly haha! Hoke has also had 8 months to prepare underestimating a sleeping giant can cause you severe stress! Be wary of what you wish for!

#5 Posted: 8/28/2012 7:32:31 PM I'm thinking it may be a covers bloodbath. Seems like everyone is on Bama. I think this game is a touchdown either way. No play for me I'll be watching as a fan |

#7 Posted: 8/28/2012 8:11:35 PM Saban with 8 mths prep time is a whole different ball game than Hoke with 8 months prep time. |

#8 Posted: 8/28/2012 8:18:07 PM Michigans defense is gonna get mauled. Saban isnt the kind of guy that takes a lot of chances. Hes gonna run the ball until you attempt to stop him, then he will pass. Now the Bama defense is gonna be stacked again. UM hasnt had much success vs any defense with a pulse....
I honestly think Denard will struggle to stay in this game. |

#9 Posted: 8/28/2012 8:21:23 PM Very one sided input from numerous respected cappers here on covers! Everyone seems to know bout bama and think denard will get crushed! This is game one and denard is healthy! He may get knocked out oh well they have a backup he has created some buzz! Vegas has tgis line right on bama wins but no bloodbath! Turnovers keep it somewhat close for michigan! Bama wins
21-14 bama |

#13 Posted: 8/28/2012 9:20:57 PM If it goes 14.5 I wouldn't touch it. I waited and got it at 13.5. |

#14 Posted: 8/28/2012 9:24:20 PM Michigan will get lit up. Denard is so garbage. He cant throw the ball. I really am not sure how any Michigan fan can be excited. Denard will light up any weak defense but certainly not Bama. Goodnight sweetheart. |

Michigan adds a late TD to make it look respectable, and crush a lot of bets. I'd tease Bama down. |

#16 Posted: 8/28/2012 9:38:55 PM Definite bloodbath potential. Michigan might hang around early, but Bama delivers a solid beatdown 28-10. |

#18 Posted: 8/28/2012 10:47:57 PM A michigan fan who well lets put it tgis way really knows bis garbage! Word is michigan is lacking d line consistantcy! The rotation is made of bulk and speed! This doesnt look good for the defense! Although our d line is looking so so our o line aparently is nasty! He compared this o line to the days of lloyd carr! Meaning big and nasty! Receivers are in trouble though with knowone standing out! Cornerback tandem between cou tess and floyd is possibly the best in big ten according to his opinion! Reason why im pointing this out and sharing his opinion is bc this game has over written all over it!
I think i will play the over which has seemed to rise! Maybe the value is lost but still worth a look! |

#19 Posted: 8/28/2012 10:51:14 PM Im not drunk i just refuse to proofread!
Oline is looking good! D line big ?'s. Speed on a rotation and bulk on another rotation! Cornerbacks looking great! Countess is a shutdown guy! Safety solid! Denard has matured tremendously! Receivers is a weakness! Clearly unproven! Does this look better this is an opnion remember from summer musings! Not mine! |

#20 Posted: 8/28/2012 10:55:32 PM Oh yeah everyone should assume fitz trousant wont play! But also know there isn't a dropoff in talent! Backups Rawls and hayes are both legit! Not a big factor in your capping! |

#21 Posted: 8/28/2012 11:59:41 PM the problem is our d-line is weak and their o-line is supreme. |

#24 Posted: 8/29/2012 3:39:25 AM The reason I started this thread was because of Denard Robinson. The only reason he is a good college QB is because he is quick. If he couldn't run, he wouldn't be a top 50 QB in the NCAA.
I have watched lightning quick teams like Oregon get manhandled by these elite SEC caliber defenses, and Oregon has had similar QBs to Robinson.
My thought is that if Robinson can't rip off those long runs when his receivers are locked down, Michigan will be score less than 14 points.
Still interested in more opinions.

And if Michael Jordan couldn't jump he wouldn't be a good basketball player, if Justin Verlander couldn't throw hard he wouldn't be a good pitcher. WTF does this mean?
