I realize that the common spelling in America for offense is "offense," but the British commonly spell it "offence."  Both are correct.  Specifically see definition 9 (a) in the link below.

Teachers on the internet just pisses me off, people have just got to be assholes and belittle others like they never mispelled a word in the life.

I don't either.  It's still "offense" in my book!!!  Americans invented offensive football so we should be able to spell it any damn way we want to!!!

Gawd!!!  I have a ton of typos in some of my posts.  I try to proof read them, but I still miss a lot if I'm in a hurry.

LOL i have more then you brother, the thing these internet teachers don't seem to understand capping football we don't have the be spelling bee's.

A lot of mine or key board errors  i say typo to everybody and it makes living on covers.com easier.

When i write letters to attorneys...etc i always letter head:

Typo if needed...

I just hate to have to do it in every post...people who log onto computers should know to always typo.
