#43 Posted: 8/5/2012 10:09:44 PM It wouldn't matter if the game was at SJSU or Stanford. It's a 30min bus ride from San Jose to Palo Alto, and the Stanford fans are apathetic at best. |

#46 Posted: 8/7/2012 1:12:32 AM with regard to UCLA...they have talent, there is no question..and the spread seems artifically low with Rice...do you think they have enough talent to overcome 1) new HC 2) 2 systems 3) on the road, 4) at night, 5) in god forsaken hot hell on earth houston texas on the last thursday on August?) 6) Bailiff is on the hotseat...he may not need to beat UCLA, but if plays them close, it will be good for him
I really liked this game prima facie a few days ago...i do believe that UCLA has the talent to cover...those outmanned rascals from Rice will play hard for 4 quarters.
I am on the sideline now as a no play...will you and Nos et al convey why you think UCLA will cover -15.5 in this game...Thanks in advance... |

In Houston it's the humidity, not the heat that gets 'em.They'll be able to stand the heat, they just won't be able to breathe.
