Love OSU, many are underestimating their offense and defense both, especially with an offense that hasn't existed in 5-6 years. Defense will be 2nd best to MSU in the B1G and offense will put up points in a hurry.

I'll have to see Florida's offense in week 1/2 before I pull the trigger on them, even though their defense is sick.

In other games I like MSU/WSU as well, on the other side with Bama - this game will get ugly in the 2nd half.

Boom

like all 3 and have OSU....wanted FL at 27 or less even though 29 unlikely to matter either way, still interested to see who starts although probably won't matter, good to see you're not wasting any time going against VT....GT should be a live dog and hoping they beat them straight up, BOL this season boom

glad to see you back in the mix of things week 1 Boom! I was leaning GT myself! I think that hook may be golden. I think either team wins by one score. I hate to be on the other side of your Michigan pick tho. So you think Dennard and company doesnt lose by double digits?

I may need to look into Ohio State. havent really given it too much thought but yea they should beat the hell out of Mia OH at home! BOL Boom

Train - Defense. Ohio S.T will be one of the best overall defenses in the country this season.

Cherokee - always good to see you  get in the challenge man

Nos - Im hearing it may be Brissett at QB. I think Florida bounces back this season. Ask jwheels about the QB situation, he would know more.

Dugie - when you coming up to Clemson to do a little tailgating with me? I would like a bunch of us covers guys to get together at a game one weekend.

Gogoplata - great to see you again. Will losing Sammy the first two games hurt? Of course it will. He is the best WR in the country. But understand this, if Clemson had to lose a player at a postion for a game or two.....it would be at WR. Clemson is loaded at WR. I think they best Auburn by exactly what I said 2 months ago... By Double Digits.

cyrax - Whats up man? Get your behind in the challenge

trey - GL to you man. I think G.T wins SU...you dont need the points my man.

As of right now, Brissett is the guy. That could change any day now in camp obviously but that's the way it's shaping up at the moment. He is a better passer and that's what Pease is looking for in the first year of his offense.

It will be interesting to see how much OSU throws the ball because Meyers offense is a lot of run.

All receivers return from LY, and should be in the spotlight more this year with this offense. TE Stoneburner should be utilized WAY more than LY, given Urban is coaching this team and we all know he loves his TE's. Stoneburner is your typical TE size and we can't waste him like we did last year.

With RB Hall out, they may resort to passing more (especially with OOC games early on) and getting back into the swing of things come week 3/4 when he returns. Hyde will have to step up as the season starts, kid is a hoss.

i expect UF to be improved this year, and could be a great bet... but i need to see them not put up another garbage week 1 performance against an out-classed team... lost money on them in their first game a couple times recently, and not willing to do it again...

if they can stomp on BG i'll be sold, and i'll be looking to bet them going forward...

GL on the plays Boom!  can't argue with any of them, although i'm on Tennessee for a small amount, myself...

When Urban first got to UF he wasn't incorporating the TE and FB much at all and realized with the speed and size in the SEC he had too, that's what happened the 2nd half of our 05 season and we improved the running game and short passing game and obviously in 06 it helped the offense immensely.. Billy Latsko, Cornellius Ingram and Tate Casey did a lot for the offense in his 2nd year.

Apoc I think you are thinking of two years ago against Miami OH.. Last year the Gators won and covered their first two games quite easily. 41-3 in the first game and 39-0 in the 2nd game.

how recently is that, due to the fact that they are 3-1-1 in their last 5 season openers ATS

and an amazing 5-0 in week 2 over the last 5 years. so please tell me what you are talking about because this statement is pure garbage. 8-1-1 ATS over the last 5 years in Wks 1 and 2.

apocalypselater:

i think you should do some research before you make these bogus statements. Florida starts out hot and fades as the season progresses. Since 2007 they are 8-1-1 in the 1st two weeks of the last 5 seasons and are even 4-1 ATS in week 3 against tennessee making for 12-2-1...

so what is even coming out of your mouth?

You know I still like VT in week one but I'll let myself get talked off that game. Everyone who knows what they're doing is on VT.

Also leaning NCST.

it's always good to see people showing their true colors early in the season... helps to sift the wheat from the chaffe... much obliged for making things easier on those of us who pay attention to such things...

on a side note:  when your opinion matters to me i'll let you know...

JW, you're right... 2 years ago UF laid a huge egg against Miami, Oh... they couldn't even get the ball from the center to the QB... that  performance was brutal enough to count twice in my memory... i stayed away last year because of that game... you think UF is gonna smoke BG this year?
