WR -JUSTIN BROWN  IS CONSIDERING OU, Brown is still considering staying at Penn State and he has also been in contact with Cincinnati and Illinois. Said he is making his decision by thursday!

This would be a nail in the coffin for Penn state!!! be interesting to see their lines and results this year!!!

Again like i said with silas..Its the difference between going middle second round, early third in the draft with OU vs. going in the 6th or undrafted with Penn state!! Brown to OU = No brainer!!

I just watched USC oregon...Oregon misses 34 yarder to tie USC in the end...OSU /Iowa state, OSU Was winning by 17 and had a FG to win it at the end....And that how close we were to not having a playoff!! I hate FG kickers

And its done bye bye penn state

Source: Penn St. WR Justin Brown joining OU

Penn State senior wide receiver Justin Brown has told Oklahoma coaches he will transfer and play for the Sooners, a source told ESPN's Joe Schad on Saturday. Brown has one season of eligibility and can play immediately for the Sooners.

bye bye penn state cause of justin brown?

you have not watched him play much have you?  he isnt as important, considering they dont have a qb who can throw him the ball capper.

it wont effect one win or loss this year, not that it matters anyways seeing no postseason.

silas will effect maybe one or two, but brown, zero.

Because of the collection of players gone and reputation along with retarded fans like you which exaserbated an awful situation! This years team will go 4-8, next year 2-10, its alot harder to recruit to a losing school; much less a losing school that has restrictions, and scoffed at the fact that they were sanctioned for the most agregous Moral darn ups of all time!!

TRADITION

PRESTIGE

WINNING- WHICH IF YOU WON 7 GAMES THIS YEAR YOU WOULD HAVE HAD SOME CHANCE OF RECRUITS! YOUR 2ND STRING IS GOING TO GET WHACKED BAD BY SOME TEAMS!!!!!

If the Big Ten wisses up they will get Rid of stinky ol penn state and get another team

HOW IS PENN STATE ON OR THE OTHER TEAMS IN LEGENDS A "LEGEND"????

@thisguyiswise

What cracks me up is every time they announce another player is leaving...here come the excuses!!

"He wouldn't have made a difference anyways!", etc...!

At first I respected your loyalty! Now, I'm begging you to wake up and shut up! One thing I'm realizing through you (considering you are "so close" to Penn St. Football) is that regardless of punishment or not...PSU has a bag of garbage as far as talent goes for Football. I kind of felt that way but you have confirmed it.

I'll end on this note. You need to follow what many of your Penn St. faithful have already figured out...SHUT THE HELL UP! It isn't very hard to figure out that the more you babble...the more ignorant and "blinded" you are to the situation. Take it like a man...if your manhood still exists!!

one thing you jerry sandusky, tim curley, and tim schultz have in common, you all were happy when joe paterno died. and you all will have god serve you his judgement.

if you think the state of pennsylvania is the only state crazy about football, look around and down to the south and ohio. i was born and raised in your state son and football is not a big deal there because there is hardly any high school talent to speak of and the college teams arent much better than aquinas. that state athletically is dominated by city kids who play at rucker puck and think a bag of weed, a jump shot, and a gang is the way of life. they will shoot your kid, not molest him. its all fuckd up either way you slice it.

i cant wait for may either, just wish joe was their to fry sandusky and the two person who are trying to gain immunity off joe's death.

open your eyes.

short bus...because i dont think joe paterno knew as much as you think...

did i not say verbals? so dont get too excited when Overrated U gets some more verbals from juco players. i guarantee those two kids from this past week sign with penn state, they dont give a garbage about jerry sandusky or the situation, it has nothing to do with them or any current players or coaches.

we laugh at the sooner education compared to ours, just laugh. i didnt mind OU, until you wanted to come in here and bash our university when 99.9 percent of the people associated have nothing to do with sandusky. he did not coach for 14 years.

I GUESS THEY CARE NOW???

Thisguyis wise: (when he thinks no sanctions)

no one man is bigger than the university, the university will always live on and prosper.

when joe died i had a whiskey and water for him. after watching breneman commit tonight i had a beer and it tasted so dam good. even my wife knew how happy i was and was so happy for me and the program. a small step to restoring our allure, but a big one at the same time.

cheers jersey this meant a lot tonight to stabilizing our program and then enhancing it.

here is the thing, you cant make up rules as you go, even as bad as this is there is no ncaa rule about it unless there were improper benefits found to players.

i am in no way saying there should not be further consequences, but many ncaa experts have said this and that likely nothing will happen besides a rule change for future instances like this god bless us there are more.

there was no rule about cam newton benefits and his dad shopping him as noted on espn by experts so they could not do anything but change the rule.

the ncaa hands are almost tied despite how bad this is.

YOU SAID :

dont think you will see many transfers from the jrs and srs, if it was winter of offseason then yes, but kind of late now. you generally dont see that in these cases from upper classmen anyway.

ill post one that is relevant to the thread you posed a month ago THISGUYISWISE

first, rob bolden was their third or fourth string qb going into this year, the guy was god awful, so that loss means zero.

secondly, some have made a big deal out of tight end in haplea transferring, he was the fourth tight end on the depth chart, with the best one in the country coming in next year. now he goes to sit behind o'leary at fsu.

fortt to me was a decent loss for the lb core (2nd biggest loss), but he left because he was not starting over mauti, hodges, and carson. i would leave too if i were him. kid has loads of talent, for some reason, through now 2 coaching staffs, the first that knew their lbs pretty good, he could not get on the field full time. so something was not right even though i saw him oozing with raw talent.

DT Pollard the freshman leaving was going to be a redshirt, who knows what kind of loss that will be, though it wont help depth in the leaner years.

If Fera the kicker leaves (he has been practicing the last two days with team), so be it. he is a good kicker but many believe Sam Fricken was set to take the job anyway or at least compete heavily.

The walk on safety they lost to nc state is from there and was born literally across the street from campus. He was also a fourth string player. I had never heard of him until he transferred.

Now to Redd. Much has been made of why Silas left, but the fact that is dismissed is he did not fit the offense as well. No doubt everyone at penn state, including the coaches would rather have him, but from Silas standpoint, one of if not the main reason he ended up leaving was because BOB is a Patriot guy, and if you have noticed over the years, the last thing they feature is the rb in offense. Certainly this year, Redd would have been featured out of pure necessity (mcgloin sucks), but it is understandable, despite many other issues evolving, Silas knew this scheme is not the best for him. Its actually better for Bill Belton, who will be coming in now to start. For anyone to say Belton will be better or is better, is purely speculating and naive, but Belton is the same size, though not as powerful, much shiftier (think Percy Harvin lite when he was at UF in backfield) and quite a bit faster. Belton is a converted WR who played RB in high school. It will take time, but hands down the better pass catcher out of the backfield than Silas, not as good a blocker. He will be followed up by sr. derrick day who has barely played but the coaching staff raved about prior to silas leaving even, and power back curtis dukes (who is still on the fence of returning or going to syracuse) last i heard he would probably stay and that was before silas left.

a name, zack zwinak, who is a fullback/tailback is a guy who may surprise this year IF he stays with the team. he was probably, next to belton and cb amos, the most impressive player at the psu spring game. i did not mention true frosh akeel lynch who is also on the fence.

PENN STATERS ARE DEFENSIVE, ABRASIVE, PROUD, LOYAL, HONEST (WHEN ITS CONVEINENT), AND WOULD ALL LOVE TO BELEVE THAT THEY VALUE ACADEMICS MORE THAN FOOTBALL (YOU DONT)!! COLLEGE EDUCATION IS OVER-RATED, COLLEGE IS FOR PARTYING AND SCORING WITH HOT COLLEE COEDS NOT SITTING IN A CLASS AND TAKING TESTS!!

vs.

Tulsa university - 74th overall

You win--- Good job!!

@Capper

Hahahahahaha. I love it!! ThisguyisNOTwise has made me wish that Penn St. would lose every game!! However, he is just as ignorant as Sandusky, JoePa, and the "trust"ees!! It's bad when you have fans like this guy that are hallucinating while this is happening to his school. At first, I respected some of his posts. Now, he is showing his cards. Hallucinating and typing his thoughts in a forum are a bad combination!!!

I still wish Penn St. the best. So far, I like their coach and his mentality. However, this guy does not represent Penn St well at all!!

I will give him one thing...by reading his posts on the players that are leaving...he is admitting what a "garbage pile" of talent they have (or had). Atleast he is honest in that regard.

BOL @Capper! Keep backing em' in the corner!!

@Bamapiks

He is so damn hard- headed...He defends "his" university with such vigor, then says things like "our academics are what matter" I just was amazed at how the Penn State faithful on ESPN and in forums and on twitter kept saying they did nothing wrong, this isnt a football issue, the current players and community will be affected, not TAKING THEIR PILL LIKE EVERY OTHER TEAM THAT HAS BEEN SANCTIONED (PROBABLY EVERYONE HAS HAD SOME SANCTIONS!!) TAKE YOUR Medicine and SHUT THE darn UP!!

You guys are pathetic

He said they should be punished

He is about the only penn state fan i have seen with an open mind who tells the truth and knows what he is talking about with facts

On one hand capper you have said nice things, then you completely flip and taunt penn state fans with players leaving crap

From a real capper perspective, most of those guys that are leaving are not worth a garbage to that team and something like 90 of 100 are staying

Who gives a garbage unless its Redd (which i am happy is going to USC) or maybe Brown, garbage means nothing for capping.  Lines are adjusted and they overreacted on the 7 or less, thus we profit.

Wise can actually give a breakdown of his roster and back it up with stats

now please talk about Tulsa and their depth chart, i know nothing of it and need to learn more rather than this DOUBLE TYPE FONT BS taunting a guy on a internet forum because he graduated from Penn State and is loyal to his school.
