some of you had the nerve to laugh at me when i predicted back in early July that LSU would finish 9-3 at best.

the next 4 games:

vs So Carolina
@ Tex A&M
vs Bama
vs Miss St

they'll be lucky if they are sitting at 7-3 on the night of Nov 10 after they host Miss St.

9-3 at best was a GREAT PICK.

hell, they might even lose at Arkie and finish 8-4.

stay tuned

So was the talk about USC and FSU but you're not starting threads about those teams.

LSUs offense is the same as it was last year. Unlikely but if they win out they're right back in the NC

i GUARANTEE you that Florida State and Univ of Southern California BOTH finish with better records than LSU, and a higher ranking than LSU,

i said back in July that LSU being one of the top 3 teams in terms of national championship odds, was a joke,

they did not belong there with the personnel losses,

9-3 at best, just like i said back in July

Here is a VERY plausible outcome to the season...

1. Oregon, Kansas State and Notre Dame all lose one of their upcoming games (including conference championships).  When is the last time any of them had a perfect regular season?

2.  LSU runs the table and finishes 13 - 1 (having beaten a one-loss Florida team in the SEC championship game) and is #1 in the BCS.

3.  Alabama wins the remainder of its games except for a close loss to LSU and finishes 12 - 1 (only loss being to #1 LSU away in Tiger Stadium at night).

4.  LSU (#1) vs Alabama (#2) in the BCS Championship Game!

p.s. I predicted this same scenario directly following Alabama's loss to LSU last year and everyone called me crazy...

Yeah. I doubt Alabama would get a rematch again.

I believe LSU will win in two weeks vs. Alabama. We've already played in some very tough games, both at home and road, and I Alabama is virtually untested. Michigan? Tennessee? Arkansas? Ole Miss may be the best team they have played to date.

I still think it'll be an LSU/UF rematch in the SECCG for a BCSNCG birth vs either Oregon or Kansas State.

Adding:

LSU lost at UF with basically 3/5 of the OL either being a 1st time starter of moved positions to shore it up due to injuries. The starting RB (Blue) is out for the year due to a knee injury. A starting LB was declared academically ineligible to start the year, and that was on top of Mathieu getting the boot in August.

Since the UF game, another OL quit due to personal family reasons. It now has them with only 2 OL starters from the original 5 potentially playing (Williford may get back) the rest of the year; including one RS freshman and one true freshman.

So, you have 5-6 penciled in starters from early August done for the year, and, yet, we are still 7-1 with only the 14-6 loss at UF to date.

Overrated?

Any other top 10 program with that many losses from the original starting 22 would be in deep garbage; LSU is shrugging it off and overcoming that adversity.

so far so good, but here comes Bama in 10 days,

you are missing the point,

the year after going to the BCS game, teams tend NOT TO GET THE BREAKS,

hence the injuries, suspensions, etc,

this is what happens when teams climb the mountain, there is only one way to go and that's down,

i still LOVE my Under 10.5 wager,

1 more loss and I win, and uhmm yea, BAMA in 10 days

watch LSU finish 9-3 now just like i predicted
