I'll never have enough time to post 1000 especially when camp starts. I played for West Chester D-2 and didnt have an outstanding career but it was still 4 years of relatiuonships I value today 20 years later

possible suggestion, what if everyone just picked any 5 games with posted lines from common source and rated 1-5 points (no negative needed for losses since they already lose by not getting the points...all the negative pts do is double the point swing for all so it cancels) - then use some public capping site (such as one of the books listed on vegasinsider or donbest odds)....also would help recordkeeping if all 5 games were in one post, you would just post your 5 games with the line at that time (numbers easily verified and anyone fudging numbers would be DQ)...each post would be easy...example

5-Clemson -7

4 -Florida St -3

3-Va Tech +3.5

2-TCU +13

1-Baylor -10

whats up nos.

I have thought about a few changes. Was the last format fair? Absolutely it was. I remember someone, cant remember who said last year I had an advantage because I was selecting the ten games to choose from. 2 reasons thats absurd. 1) There is only like 10 to 14 games every week with spreads of 7 points or less. 2 ) If I have a competitive advantage with picking games at 7 points or less over the average joe...please someone point it out and how.

im thinking of making a change or two  but really, this is as fair as a contest can get.

I think Florida State's defense gives them a 65% chance to run the Table.

Clemson will only be a dog against Florida State and has to be careful against Auburn early on but those 3 guys are scary on O.

Oklahoma is almost as good on offense as Florida State is on Defense.

I am a Michigan Fan as my cousin played there in the 80's. Bad draw week 1 for them

what's up boom - yeah i've heard that theory and we're not referring to that, it's fair since everyone plays by the same rules...just a suggestion to allow cappers to handicap from 50-60 matchups (plus totals) instead of 10...8 or 9 of which most cappers will have no opinion since as you know better than most....from a population of games there's a handicapping advantage/playable game 10-15% max and basically the rest become leans or in many cases coin flips..basically it would be like for your cash plays being able to only pick from 10 instead of 120 and then you'd only have 1-2 games instead of 8-10 a week....not a big deal bud, everyone plays by the same rules either way and yours was/is fair as well....count us in either way, looking forward to us both unloading some cash plays in about 3 weeks my friend

Everyone has certain leans on certain games that might be tossups- not saying you're doing anything on purpose- but if you're choosing between two games left for one spot and you've got a lean on one of them- you might be tossing that one on the board and not the only one

Again, with so few games within the spreads each week it's for sure difficult and def. not accusing you of anything- just bringing up the other side to that statement

realsififan - what book do you work for if you dont mind me asking? I would love to have you in but I have to be fair as I have already stated that one must need a 1000 post mark. You always make a well thought out post in the forum.......

Bib - in.  If you come to death valley let me know. We can get together and I can show you the day around Clemson. I dont know if you read my thoughts on the ACC championship game from last year but ( and this certainly doesn't mean I feel this way about every Hookie fan ) But V.T fans showed their fools. Was really disappointed in how rude and classless a huge portion of them were. I had one of my kids with me and really was upset with the way the V.T fans around me were acting. One drunk fool simply couldn't understand that cussing in my little boys ear wasn't going to be tolerated by me. I told the guy that what I thought about stomping his behind in front of his family and friends wasn't nothing. Just really dampered the whole championship experience for me.

Certainly not something I'm used to hearing when it comes to Hokie fans. Either things have changed for the worse since I left school or it was just a poor misrepresentation. We do live and die by our team but to be distasteful around children is just unnecessary. I hope we show well in Death Valley and can change your opinion a bit.

I will be there for sure. My roommate and I have already booked our flight down there and look forward to the experience

Boom Boom,  I know work for William Hill since they took over Club Cal Neva.

I completely agree with your statement about the 1000 postings rule and have no ill feelings or resentment.

Have a great contest and I will be posting when I can and I am glad you enjoy my postings.

Thanks for your contest as it gives me a list that I can use to find a few people to look at and add some important info from time to time, it is important...Best of luck and anyone on here that is new should use this as a tool to learn and not let ego get in the way, money is more important. Greed and ego are killers coming from someone who has been guilty of both (and still fight ego from time to time after all these years although I now realize more then ever the only real opinion that matters is your own in ego arguments, no matter who you are)
