And hilarious.
Thank you for your input. I want to watch all of the good ones.
And if anyone wants to discuss what strategy, team(s) work for them. This is a forum, so please feel free to chime in what strategies have worked for you. Thanks! |

Thanks well mikey what i like as far as a nat'l title game is LSU beating Oklahoma. I was high on UCF until they got their bowl ban. As far as strategies i just try to find games i like and bet them. I'm not really a strtegy guy. 1 thing though is last season mikey we had tuesday night college football with Toledo and western michigan and guys were bitching why do i bet these crap games. Here's advice for ya. If that Toledo-Western Michigan game was on saturday would you bet it?
another thing mikey in 2010 i was looking at the lines and saw kansas state was a 3 pt fave vs kansas. I couldn't believe it. I bet them big with the line and ML and won a ton. Since then i've won a ton of kansas state bets. On the contrary USC screws me all the time. 2nd piece of advice anytime i take a side in a usc game bet the other side. I'm not joking i've won1 usc bet in 3 years
basically mikey you can follow whoever you want but to me you can't blindly tail someone. Example lets say you like Navy week 1 and i say i like ND that doesn't mean you discount your opinion. Always go with your gut. Have fun ask questions win. welcome to covers. BTW usually on those crappy weekday games i was talking about we have in game threads. Join in my man. I've never had more fun than in those threads |

That makes a lot of sense. It's hard not to bet teams like USC because they get so much coverage, so you get a false sense of security that you "know" the team. If that Toledo-Western Michigan game was on saturday would you bet it?
Answer: probably not...again for me it's hard to bet a team that I haven't seen play.
I do normally play my gut, but getting opinions from others or reading how they think about a game can influence me. With college football especially, I played my gut feeling a lot, which is how I shot up to $5k.
NFL seems so easy to bet, but it screwed me over many times last season!! |

#256 Posted: 8/2/2012 12:16:26 AM It will take 17.5 plus for me to consider a UM play here.....but I do like that arlington turf....hard and fast plays to Denard Robinson's strengths.
UM loses the DT Martin.....good DT's that clog up the middle are in such short supply, that is a big deal in this matchup.
Bama should run and control things...dominance on the ground are equal to td's in the redzone. |

#259 Posted: 8/3/2012 3:27:47 PM bigvern,
With the turf you could have a good point with DR, but Alabama just played their last game in the Superdome so they should be used to the turf, or atleast know what to expect...

#260 Posted: 8/4/2012 7:08:02 PM Saban don't brag much, so there must be something special about this years team.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Nick Saban says this Alabama team had probably the best results from the summer physical test of any group he's coached.
