Georgia - Talk about getting a break. These guys have had the golden horseshoe the last two years when it comes to scheduling. I know that most Dawg fans will argue but there is nothing to argue about. You guys have a cream puff schedule and that's why I think its almost certain you may win the east again. Offensively this is the best group I've seen at Georgia in a long time. I really like Aaron Murray and IMO he may be the one best QB in the SEC, he has plenty of weapons to choose from and should have one of the better offenses in the country. Question is will Isiah Crowell step up and be the guy they thought he would be. I personally didn't see anything in him special last year. Maybe that changes this season and we will see. Defensively this is and will be one of the most underrated defenses in the country. Play makers everywhere. All three levels. Todd Grantham's scheme now will look like has wanted it to look. Really the only thing that will hold this team back is the same thing that holds them back every season, the coach. Mark Richt is not a good coach guys. He just doesn't have it. Sorry but I've gave this guy plenty of chances and the facts back up whatr im saying. I dont really care that he won the east last year, HE DIDN'T PLAY ANYBODY!!! He played four teams with a pulse in Boise s.t ( which BTW I guaranteed here on covers last year that Boise would not only win but BLOW Georgia out ) South Carolina in where his defense looked liked Swiss cheese and LSU in where they got girl slapped on national tv and Michigan s.t where he blew a 16 point lead. So dont tell me about your 10-4 record. I dont care about beating Vandy and weak Florida team from last year. Win something that matters!! Overall I expect this team to probably win 9 to 10 games and lose the games that matter. Until something changes my mind wont.

Georgia seems so overrated this season ... yeah mainly bc the schedule like you mentioned ... Richt is very average , maybe he gets fired sometime this season if they choke a few away

South Carolina - I guess it's time to give some credit where credit is due. The gamecocks have been tremendous the last few years. I think that most of that credit has to go to a couple of individual players. Thats all it takes some times to turn a program around. Fat boy aka Alshon Jeffires and Marcus Lattimore were the two guys imo that helped change the face of gamecock nation. The last few years these guys have been able to lean on some guys to lead them, imo this year will be different. You have a guy in Lattimore who will be coming back off injury and nobody knows if he will be the same. You lose Alshon who was the guy if you got into trouble you could just throw it up in the air and he might bail you out. You lose Melvin Ingram who was the leader of the defense. Out goes Gilmore who was supposedly a great CB, I never thought he was at all nor did I think he was a first round draft pick let alone number 10. Out goes the Hollman who was that guy that just seemed to make play after play when you needed something big to happen. Out goes Ellis Johnson the architect of that defense. Spurrier will have some challenges this season. I still think Conner Shaw is average and will look even more so without those weapons. In short, you lose alot of leadership and experience that isn't easy to replace in the college game. I like some of the pieces that are in place like Clowny and Taylor on the DL.  These guys are big time players who will harass opposing QB's. But again when I look at this team I see what I see in alot of teams sometimes, lack of experienced personal that really helped you win ball games. The schedule is tough. Don't think that Vandy game on opening night will be a cake walk LOL. Those guys always play S.C tough and especially @ Vandy. @ Florida @ LSU home against Arkansas and @ Clemson is a rough road.  I dont think we will see the same team we saw last year. 8 - 4 or 7 - 5 is about right for this team.

up next..............Florida

Florida - I think it's easy to say I gave Florida hell last year. But with good reason. I was probably the only person that said pre season these guys would suck out loud and would struggle due to their new HC. Was I wrong? Was I wrong about there coach? Did I not tell you guys that Mushead was in over his head? I was right on all accounts. This years team is actually much better than last years team. Why? Defense. I personally think this is a top 3 overall defense in the country. The DL is flat out nasty. The LB's and Secondary is quick and can get to the ball very fast. This Defense actually may be the quickest in all of college football. One huge problem with this team. QB. When I watched this team last year I seen zero QB play, NONE!! The reason im not picking Florida to win the east by a landslide is because of this offense with no QB. I just dont see any eye popping players on offense. I think that the game between you guys and Georgia should decide the east. Right now the edge goes to Georgia because they have all the things I think that you dont on offense. @ Tennessee @ A&M early will really tell you alot about this team, Why? Because they dont have to play hardly any road game all year. WTF!! @ Tennessee on Sept 15th is it until Nov 24th. Wow can somebody please check the schedule makers!! My goodness, can you say favorable schedule? Oh yeah BTW..... you still haven't left the state of Florida to play a out of conference game since 1990. You wonder why I have gave you guys a hard time.

The west is absolutely loaded yet once again. The top three teams in the west will be better IMO than any team from the east. I think this league comes down to the LSU / Alabama game and right now I think LSU has to have the edge for 2 reasons. Revenge and Home Field. Georgia will win the east by default due to the pathetic schedule and will get destroyed in the Conference Championship game.

up next............... Georgia

No way auburn best case is 9-3. No way in hell they beat LSU, AL, ARK, Clemson, or Georgia.  At best 7-5 and that is giving them credit for beating Texas a&m and at miss state which I don't think will happen

Tennessee -  This is a team that the East needs to watch out for. I m about to tell you guys something that most don't know. Tyler Bray is the BEST QB in the SEC. The Best. If he has a good year and I think he will, he might overtake Matt Barkley for the first QB taken if he opts to go to the NFL. The Kid has some serious talent and really nice weapons. Justin Hunter and Da'Rick Rodgers are two big time receivers. I think their the 3rd best WR Combo in the country right behind Watkins and Hopkins at Clemson and  Woods and Lee from Socal. Here is a name that is under the radar but will have a huge breakout season. Marlin Lane. The Guy will burst out of no where and the college football world will say, where did this guy come from? I think we can make a good argument that Tennessee's offense may be as good as Arkansas or better. In this conference I would rank them 1 and 2 and neither a clear cut #1. There a top 15 offense nationally IMO. Defensively this is where things have looked differently since Fulmer left. These guys just dont have that great defense that we use to see with Tennessee. They have plenty of talent and experience returning, but does that make them better? Not sure it does. I do know that I project them to be better and that could be enough to be the difference in winning 2 or 3 more games. The schedule isn't the worst I seen but certainly not the easiest. The opening game with NCST should be a great game and the winner of that game really takes off and has a pretty good year IMO. Florida @ Home is a tough game obviously but a game they can win. @ Georgia, Alabama and @ S.C are all tough games. If they can go 2 - 1 in those games I think Tennessee will do exactly what I think they can, win maybe 9 games. I tell you one thing. If Florida's and Georgia's ( more so Georgia ) schedule wasn't completely pathetic, I would say Tennessee has a decent shot at winning the EAST.

I was hoping someone would touch on Bray's potential.  I forgot the center's name but man he goofed up a lot of drives last year with his low snaps, over and over it was hard to watch.  It'll be good to see what he can do this year and I hope he's healthy

Packers - yeah man I think there is a ton of value in Tennessee this year. I really wouldn't be surprised to see these guys win the east even tho Georgia and Florida have a easier path..... I dont trust Richt and Mushead has a way to go on proving hes Head Coach. We know he is a good Defensive Coordinator...but there is a big difference in the two.

Gumerk - I was really looking forward on talking about Bray. I think he has tremendous upside and can be the kind of guy that can take a team to the next level.

Boom-

good read on tennessee. this offense will put a lot of points up, but i'm curious to see if jim chaney will get creative with the play calling this year. he was quite conservative with the same players last year and i believe held the team back. i was really hoping for dooley to do like clemson did last off season and hire a great offensive mind in chad morris. someone that knows how to put points on the board. good call on lane, he will be a standout running back by years end behind a mature o-line. the defense played tough at times last year, and another year under their belts should allow them to be respectable. sal sunseri should do fine with these kids.

season win total is at 6.5 with god awful juice, but i will take it when it goes to 7 and positive juice.

keep it up man

Before Bray got injured this offense was rolling. If Hunter didn't go down in the Florida game I believe this offense would have been very good by years end. Trust me.... When Bray went down the team died.

Missouri - These guys leave the Big 12 and move to the SEC. The " sheep " would tend to believe that Missouri isn't worthy of playing in their league or cant keep up. Bull garbage. I hope you guys understand that Missouri is who they are no matter what league they play in. What I mean is these guys are a decent football team and that's about all, doesn't matter if they play in the mountain west or the SEC. These guys who they are. This team is talented enough to play with most teams they play. Does that mean they can win every game? Absolutely not, what it means is football is game that is played with players, not the media and not bias one opinion short sided individuals. James Franklin is a beast guys. 6'6 or 6'7 a legit 220 lbs who has deceptive speed. I think these kind of QB's may be the future. I think the uncertainty of RB Josey is a big concern for this team. They do have capable other backs but none like him IMO. Defensively I think this is where you will see a difference with this group. IMO they will be a little better than advertised. They have some experienced guys but lack alot of depth and we all know how important depth is in the college game. Schedule wise I think they have a tough road. OOC is pretty hard if you ask me, somebody needs to tell these guys that their in the " SEC " now. No need to schedule other " real " opponents. Arizona S.T @ UCF and Syracuse is much more than any other SEC would schedule I can guarantee you that. You need to make sure the little sisters of the poor and whogivesafuck s.t make the schedule for now on, LMAO. Anyway, @ S.C @ Florida @ Tennessee @ A&M home to Bama, good luck guys. Can you say 6 wins maybe 7?

Been waiting to Pound the SC under 8.5 +125 on 5 D....will do so now

They lost way too much to win 9+ with the tough schedule ...7-5 sounds about right to me as well

Your take on CB Gilmore kills me ... the Bills took him 10th and I was actually happy... Buffalo needs help at CB and I thought they got their man ....

My take on the guy is he would be be great playing that hybrid type nickle guy... you know blitz him, he can stop the running game. But one thing i can guarantee you is he is NO NFL CB. he will get beat deep not a little, but alot.  Good Player. But in the wrong position IMO

7 games would be a great season for my Tigers. SC,UF,Bama and Florida I have already chalked up as losses. Georgia, AZ St and @UCF are all gonna be super tough. Hell, Kentucky, Cuse and Vandy are gonna be hard as hell too. If they could some how start the season 3-0 they may have a chance at 8 wins, but if UGA beats them I think the downward spiral starts.

Josey is irreplaceable. He was a game changer. They also lack wr talent imo. There defense is gonna have to play out of their minds to keep some of these games close.

not saying your wrong.... But I just cant see it. Too much with Georgia, Florida and a mix of Tennessee and S.C for Mizz to be a " upper " type team compared to those programs right now.
