#1 Posted: 1/10/2012 2:25:30 AM Oregon played LSU early in the seaon. Had they played LSU or Bama late they would have wiped the floor with both over and over again..... USC would pound them both as well.... Sleeping Natty with these unfortunately. |

#3 Posted: 1/10/2012 2:32:55 AM agreeed!! I think both these teams were living and playin in a fishbowl! If either of these unbalanced no offense teams traveled outside their conference they'd get beat handily. USC, Oregon Stanford...the list goes on. The bcs has got the death rattle going now..just listen~ |

#4 Posted: 1/10/2012 2:36:23 AM If usc was eligible and there was a playoff system i think they honestly beat anyone in the country this year, they got freakishly good near the end of the year and unlike oregon and osu they have the athletes on both sides of the ball to compete. Either way we should have a playoff so we can see who the true best team is at the end of the year. |

#6 Posted: 1/10/2012 2:49:37 AM It would be very interesting. I will admit, I am a traditionalist and I have never really been in favour of a playoff. But this season, a playoff would have provided a true National Champion.
I do not want to take anything away from LSU or Alabama. Both are outstanding football teams. But at the end of the day, I believe that the offeses of USC or Oregon would be too much for both LSU and Alabama to handle. |

Your crazy, SEC is about defense. And as you can see defense wins championships. That's why the SEC has 6 in a row. Offenses look great until you come up against a real defense. And Oregon got a taste of that defense when LSU put it on them this year. LSU put it on West Virginia too. And Alabama ran through everybody as well, and beat LSU#1 team in the nation.
Man stop talkin stupidness. USC, Oregon, Stanford can't hang with Bama or LSU. Too big, too fast, too strong. LSU hung 40 on Oregon & 47 on West Virginia. SEC out of conference offense looks great, because they are not playing SEC tough defense.

Don't fool yourself sir, all these big programs cheat. You think it's just a coincidence that schools like lsu, alabama, oregon, usc, oklahoma get the best players year in and year out? |
