The Hokies have absolutely no business being in this bowl and the Wolverines will do their best to show the world what a farce this really is. Virginia Tech’s schedule was bad enough playing in the ACC, but it didn’t even have to face Florida State or NC State, the conference’s only two bowl winners this postseason. Meanwhile, Michigan has played seven straight bowl participants, with four of those coming on the road, and managed to go 5-2, posting the five wins by an average margin of 18.2 PPG. The Hokies allowed a below-average Clemson rushing offense (was ranked 67th) to gain 217 yards on them, and have little chance at stopping Michigan’s 12th-ranked run offense (236 YPG) led by QB Denard Robinson. The pick here is MICHIGAN to win comfortably.

couple of those michigan wins looked impressive but look what they did is yesterday bowl games.
Ohio St , underwhelming,,,,
Nebraska, equally underwhelming.
its hard to figure this game. i cant understand why Michingan is the fave and also, that the spread has been growing in Michigan direction. I am probably going VaTech but something tells me to
keep looking.

you say va tech has no right being in a bcs bowl but what right does michigan have, didnt even make their conference championship and lost to Mich st who was in the big ten championship. How does mich get a bcs bid but mich st does not?
Also this game will not be won on the arm of logan thomas and not on the shoes on denard robinson but on the coaches. You give Frank Beamer 3 wks to prepare I am going to take me chances with the man who has been winning a long time. It is called Beamer ball for a reason. Best of luck thou one of us will win.
