#153 Posted: 1/3/2012 10:03:50 PM Adding:
Michigan/Va Tech 2nd half over 24.5 for 10 units... I think both of these teams can make the proper adjustments to start moving the ball easier....

However from a Michigan fans perspective (I am a UM fan) the Wolverines seemed to not win the game as much as they stumbled upon victory in a way that pretty much was viewed as an indecisive battle in my opinion. In simple terms the Wolverines won a game in which they played like complete garbage. Some would call that a dumbfounded win... |

#164 Posted: 1/4/2012 6:43:40 PM Most of the general public are hammering Clemson and the OVER. The problem I have with playing Clemson is that the books are not comfortable moving the line up to -3.5 and off a key number such as -3 (FG) which translates to me that WVU is possibly the better play with more value.
Also, as they hammer the total to go OVER the books are very comfortable in raisng the total several points meaning they want more action on the under.
The books would like to see WVU hit and the UNDER but feel there is good value in WVU and not so much in the UNDER. |

#169 Posted: 1/4/2012 7:56:41 PM they need WVU and the UNDER tonight but because of the line movement on the total I will also put a little hammer on the OVER and a big sledge hammer on WVU!

#171 Posted: 1/4/2012 9:11:33 PM Not going to lie here. I was hoping for a lower scoring 1st half so I could get a better number at halftime for a 2nd half over. This plan is currently being ruined. Over bettors (which is most of the entire sports betting world) have got to be loving the way this 1st qtr is finishing up after it looked like it was destined for scoring failure at first.... |

#172 Posted: 1/4/2012 10:02:42 PM OB I am thinking we will be good if the moose stays the fawk away from WVU. This was a pounder my friend!
Again, Vegas was completely content to keep the line at a solid -3 even after talking almost all action on CLEMSON and then to not let the line reflect the WVU star RB out either....They were onto something and so are we.....hopefully we don't get backdoored by the moose! We all know anything's possible!
Also, the total did reflect the RB out rising a quick 4 points today while Vegas was getting pounded with the OVER so we recognize this and ride it out also! The 4 point steam move on the OVER was a trigger point to make a play!
Good luck all! |

Good luck all! Nice call. I personally never make wagers based on steam. All my plays are pretty much a combination of statistical research combined with and understanding of what teams are capable of. My head right now is telling me were does this scoring stop? I'm kind of leaning on Clemson and the over for the 2nd half. The numbers that will be offered will be important. I most likely will need a 31 or so to play the over and a -7 or less for Clemson to play them. We shall see how the books handle this game at the half after all those 2 huge Clemson TO's... |

#174 Posted: 1/4/2012 10:23:51 PM Based on my "in-game betting" it looks like it will be about 1-1.5 and 38ish for the total |

#175 Posted: 1/4/2012 10:24:02 PM It was solely based on steam!
It was "TRIGGERED" by the steam movement today! |
