And you can beat Miles and company will take a long hard look at how Georgia Southern ran for over 300 yards against them running the option. Something which Jefferson can do really well. If they cant stop those guys then i am sure LSU will have lots of success doing the same thing.

I disagree with most of your posts, and your plays...but I have to agree...LSU is the ONLY team that deserves to be called Champion this season....hell, one game to go and Roll Tide could potentially still finsh 3rd in their division lol........national champs? no way

How does anybody put down a team/game that does not know who didn't play for the full 60 minutes.

If you want a slow breakdown of the game, I'll give it to you but no way you guys can handle an actual loss.

In a nutshell............ Jarrett Lee was cold in first half.

Second half...... Bama Linebackers too slow on edges....... game, set, match.

And that was a nice gesture of me to actually have to freaking describe it to you delusional people.

If this subject comes up again, it's gonna be a GTFO type response.

Each game has its own reward and each week brings on new challenges. Can LSU handle the challenges before them? That's what makes this sport so awesome.

I'm betting on NO. I don't think the hatter and his squad can deliver the goods. If they do, my fedora's off to them

What's the problem? Barring upsets the 2 best teams in the country will play in the title game. It sucks they played earlier but that's the system.
I agree it will suck for LSU if they lose to 'Bama after beating them earlier away and end the season 1-1 vs them then 'Bama is crowned the big winner but the answer is easy. Just beat them again. In the interviews I saw with LSU players they were up for either rematch ('Bama or Oregon) because they seem to get that's how it works; I don't get why everyone else is bitching about it not being fair. Everyone knows the national title in college football is a mythical thing until there's a playoff; it's been that way for as long as I remember, the BCS just added more #s to the polls that used to be the be all end all.
I guess they could just cancel the title game since it's a rematch but if I'm LSU I'm playing in New Orleans, not home but you can bet there'll be more LSU fans there than 'Bama fans, against a team I beat already with a chance to validate myself as a great team. I'm there.

LSU doesn't have to Validate anything, that's the point of this thread.

It's like when OU lost to Texas, but got to the Title game via the Final BCS rankings instead of Texas when there was a 3-way tie for the champion. But, this is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more stupid. Texas beat OU and still didn't play and they had the same record! Bama lost at home and has one more loss and will still play in the NT game?

I thought Texas got jobbed then, darn no this is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay worse than that.

I think the AP will vote LSU the champion either way unless Bama wins 35-3 or something which will never happen.

The pollsters made this issue by not dropping Bama further in the polls like they should have. Or, at least they should have dropped one more after the last 2 friggin weeks of "Roll garbage" football they've played.

And besides, it’s reasonable to ask if Alabama is all that good anyway. In the two games since losing to LSU, the Crimson Tide took a 10-0 lead into the fourth quarter against 5-6 Mississippi State and its top-ranked defense allowed 302 yards rushing against Georgia Southern.

More like roll garbage to me....

Let a different team have a crack at LSU.

Yeah, great point . . . uhmmmm . . . except Alabama beat Mississippi State by a wider margin than LSU did!!!    So if Alabama is not that good for beating Mississippi State 24-7, what conclusions should we draw from LSU beating them 19-7???

Yes, and the NFL loves big, slow linebackers.

It's a good thing for most posters on this board that there isn't a minimum IQ to post.  If there were, this place would be a ghost town.

You evidently missed the game.  That's too bad because it was a good one.  Had you watched the game, you would know that the only way LSU was able to move the ball on Alabama was with the option.

Do you consider the Patriots the Champions of 2008 too???

Nevermind they lost in superbowl/title game, right?
