I know this game is 2 weeks away...

But I'm going to say it right now.  Arkansas will beat LSU straight up.  Before you guys bash me about being from Arkansas and being an Arkansas alum, let me tell you why I think this. 

Arkansas matches up with LSU better than Bama did, IMHO.  Bama has absolutely no deep passing threat.  We have 6 receivers on our team that can absolutely dominate a secondary.  Look what WV was able to do through the air against that mighty LSU secondary.  Don't think that Bobby Petrino hasn't watched that game over and over and over again.    I think Coach Petrino will stick Jarius Wright in the slot to get a miss match against a weaker corner than Matthieu and Clayborn.  Chris Gragg, our TE, is an incredible athlete with great hands.  I love a potential mismatch with him and an LSU LB.  LSU can run the football, and I know we have been struggling against the run, but last game out we did a nice job against SC.  Our D has proven that they get alot better at the end of the season.  Only thing that scares me about this LSU team is Jordan Jefferson.  We have had troubles in the past stopping running quarterbacks.  However, in last year's game we contained him well.  Remember, LSU was #1 in the country 4 years ago when we played them at Baton Rouge and shocked them in OT.  The last 2 games in Baton Rouge have come down to OT.  This is a heated rivalry game that usually always comes down to the last possession.  Should be a dandy to watch.

Some of you want some insight why I think we will win.  Here we go:

As I've already mentioned, we have 5 or 6 receivers we can go to at anytime.  LSU has Matthieu and Clayborn, but they can't guard everyone on the field.  LSU fans in this thread, remember the name Chris Gragg because you will be hearing it all day.  He is the most athletic TE in the SEC and will be a huge mismatch for LSU's not so strong linebackers.  Knile Davis is practicing.  There would be no other reason for him practicing if he wasn't going to play in this game.  Remember him?  He was the one that single handedly wore that strong DL out last year on that final drive that put the nail in the coffin.  Our defense has got alot better the past 2 games as they always seem to do at the end of the year.  Our offensive line made huge strides last week against Tennessee and that only makes Tyler Wilson more dangerous.  LSU fans, prepare to be shocked.  I think y'all look at the Bama game and immediately think that y'all will roll over us.  Bama had 3 non-offensive tds in this game.  We will score our points, I don't care what you say.  Question is can your team score more than 24?  I say no

Arkansas' two strengths are their passing game and their kick return game. LSU has the best secondary college football has seen in an incredibly long time, and they also have the best kick coverage unit in the country. This game won't be close.

You must have missed this in my post.  Knile Davis is back practicing with the team.  Why would he be practicing if he wasn't planning on playing in this game?  Your secondary is good, yes, but wasn't it also last year when we put up 30 on you guys?  And that was with Peterson back there.  Our defense was very very banged up in the Ole Miss and Vandy games (both our stud DEs were out).  We are now healthy everywhere and last week's game against Tennessee showed it.  If Petrino doesn't call off the troops, we win that game by 60+.  The O line has finally figured out how to block as we've witnessed the past 2 games.  Wilson hasn't been getting sacked or hit nearly as much.  Knile Davis is a McFadden clone and Dennis Johnson is a bruiser.  We will have success running the football with these two.  That opens up alot of things in the passing game no matter how good a secondary is.  Let LSU put 6 or 7 in the box and we will wear them out all game on the ground.

No one deny Arkansas' past success against LSU, and that these games are usually very close.  I think it'll be close again this season.

arkansas is going to get destroyed.  this team could easily have 4 losses.   atm, vandy, ole miss and of course bama.

they had no answer on defense for texas a+m   a+M ran for over 220 yards on them and only lost because of there box coach mike sherman punting on two 4th and inches plays when arkansas could not stop a nose bleed.
