Terrible spot for USC. This team isn't eligible for a bowl or Pac-12 title, so the Notre Dame and Stanford games were easily the most important of the season. Why would they care to get up for this one?
Combine it with the cold temps, altitude, and rowdy Friday night crowd in Boulder and it's not hard to see why there are people (myself included) who do not believe USC will cover 21 points.

i agree......Between all the games tommorrow Colorado might make the most sense......however the line is reasonable so it makes my shy away......

I keep hearing this every week...
It started when cappers were saying why would SC care about their game with Cal, on a thursday night, on national TV...
I understand the let down issue....but I think this "What do they have to play for" reason is getting old and has been proven wrong 3 games in a row.

I had no opinion on the Cal game and am not sure why USC wouldn't be "up" for that one. Being fully motivated in three consecutive games, however, is no easy task. Notre Dame and Stanford were THE games of the season for USC. The Stanford game was particularly draining given its longevity. It's a short week, and Colorado is unfamilar territory for most of this team.
I understand those who say they can't bring themselves to bet Colorado and would rather pass up the game entirely. But how on earth can you lay 21 with USC in this spot?

whats wrong with a 17 or 14 point win....it just smells like a 7 point game before half and a backdoor cover

I am taking Colorado and the points. USC can play very well and have a ton of talent, but what about the minnesota and Utah game, they played like garbage!! 21 is alot of points for the spot USC is in. They could be up 27 or 28 points late in the 4th quarter and give up garbage points and not cover.
