I'm 31-5 on the season ATS. Could this be a fluke? : /

Ok, I know this post is going to generate controversy already; I am not lying though.  I am 31-5 ATS/O/U on the season and would be 33-3 if I didn't make the rookie mistake of buying into the ESPN hype instead of trusting my gut last weekend.

My question is: I've been doing this on and off for years, and I want to know if anyone else has had a similar experience?  I'm seriously considering getting into the advice industry, seeing as how most pros are happy to hit around 65%, but I'm wondering if I've just been lucky or if I maybe have some skill at this.  My blog is up, but I'm not going to post the link unless forum members actually care to read it.  Let me know!

It's a fluke.  I had a stretch of NBA where I went about 28-5.  Right around .500 ever since.

Why not prove yourself here first?  You're throwing out some big numbers yet your Posts read a grand total of 4.  So lets see some picks homie.  Let the results do the talking.

You have every reason to doubt me.  I honestly wasn't touting my garbage, just want some constructive criticism.  Blog link is still pending demand.  I'll be posting screen shots of my picks for the year in-case anyone thinks I'm lying, and a video capture of my picks for those who think I've photo-shopped my screen shots :)

Been using covers for years but wasn't really interested in posting until I started doing well, and saw the #s the "pros" were putting up.  Proof to come soon, trying to figure out a video screen capture now so everyone can see my betting history within my sports book.

Houston tonight and Stanford at -7.5.  Die-hard USC fan, season tickets, was in South Bend for Notre Dame game, blah blah.  Us having a chance is all hype, Stanford should blow us out.  ESPN is also hyping USC, and let's just say they've been super wrong about the matchups they've hyped up.

Besides that I'm really liking T Tech or Ok St.  RG3 makes me nervous, but OK St. is winning the turnover battle 2.67 positive on the season and 5.0 positive in their last four; those numbers are insane for a team who gets hated on for not having a solid D.  Add in the fact that they've healthily beaten both teams that attacked them with the pass (Arizona and Tulsa) and I like what I see.  They also have the National Championship within reach, which means they're going to be focused: they get K State and OU at home this year, and they should handle T Tech on the road just fine.  Remember: OU's woes started against Kansas, not T Tech (the final score against Kansas was deceiving, and the T Tech win was no surprise (I called it in my blog, just didn't bet on it).

If you have that winning % 2-3 seasons in a row, then you might have something there

way too little picks ......% means nothing when picks are so few..........I have gone btw 11 to 13 wins out of 17 year after year on my #1 pick in the NFL(great %).......am I good enough to consider what he is considering....No.

You contradict yourself to a ridiculous extent. You say you've been doing this for years, yet you ask if your run is a fluke. If you have in fact been doing this for years you know as well as all of us that it is a fluke, and you should stay off the forum if your ultimate goal is building a base to eventually buy your picks.
