"Rolling with the Alabama Crimson Tide"

Question:

Whats LSU going to do when the Alabama starters play 4 QT's without being pulled at home Nov 5th, 2011 ?

Answer:

LSU is going to get a good old fashion behind kicking.

LMAO, first off Alabama will not play all starters for 4 qtrs. Saban will keep fresh legs on the field as much as possible. Reall are you kidding me, LSU runs 8 different d lineman that could start at Alabama or any other school, so whats Alabama's o line going to be like come 4th qtr? These are 2 evenly matched, qualyt football teams. LSU'S defensive secondary is second to none, question is can those 8 dline man stop the running attack of ALABAMA? Will McCarron crumble under the constant pressure he will receive all day long?  How will ALABAMA'S defense handle the 2 style QB system LSU brings in along with  the monster RB Spencer Ware?  Either way one thing you can count on is there will be no old fashion kicking in this game either way. 2 coaches with a bye week to prepare their teams and what you will see is a hard fought, close type of game like 17-14 late in the 4th quarter with whoever makes the last mistake loses. Crowd will not be a factor as LSU has handled 4 ranked teams on the road this year and I promise you there will be plenty of purple and gold in the stands !!  Good luck !

LSU played Oregon on a neutral site, and Oregon lost (11) starters from last year, and still put up (27) points. Other ranked teams were Miss St, which was clearly overrated and LSU only won 19-6 on the road which is approx: (80) miles away which i would hardly call that a road game other then a different stadium at most.

West Virgina put up something like (533) total yards on that secondary you say is second to none...lol.
Playing Florida after Alabama did was a gift...Alabama beat them down emotionally with hurting their best RB Demps, and their starting QB...etc.

I'm glad you're LYAO, enjoy it now because Nov 5th you want be LYAO anymore...

LSU will lose (2) games this year > Alabama > Arkansas.

Alabama starting the season out playing 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th
stringers all four quarters as if playing practice teams, then when they played the better teams, Saban pulled his starters either in the 3rd or 4th QT.

You can believe this Saban will not pull his starters playing LSU even if he is ahead by (40) points and you can take that to the bank and draw interest on it.

Does Miles pull his starters in the 3rd and 4th qt against good teams, i would say ranked teams but we all know teams being
ranked is BS to start the season out until mid season.

AJ McCarron may make a mistake maybe, but LSU's mistake will be playing (2) QB's. You know why McCarron is not on his back playing every week...it's because Alabama's OL in top notch he will have a good day against LSU, you using the word crumble is an understatement.

As far as LSU's Marcus Ware there's no way he runs over
Alabama defense or you kidding me.

This year is payback for Alabama they will give LSU an old fashion behind weeping, and this game will not be close. LSU stepping on Alabama dirt will be the best thing that will happen to them, cause they going back home with their heads between their legs.

You're crazy if you think the Alabama crowd with not be an issue, and there may be some LSU fans their but they will be out numbered so much the only time you could hear them is if all the Alabama fans went to the bathroom at the same time, and i hate
using the home crowd advantage anyway.

Don't put to much into LSU playing rank teams nor Alabama this is personnel, Alabama's a beast as you LSU fans will find out
soon.

Alabama is taking no prisoners.

wheels whats up, i see you been catching hell lately.

I was starting to feel bad for you, hope it all works out you're not that bad a person you just care for you're team and have some good insight at times one thing you can't do is admit Weis is not working out that good. Watch me next year, if Alabama is a bad team i will say they are a bad team, if Kirby Smart...etc. does not do a good job i will talk bad about them homer are not.

One thing about college football is it changes every year to every other year with teams. Maybe you will be correct about Florida, they have been the best around college football for a while, way should they fade.

One thing that comes with being the best it also brings allot of hate, look at this thread as of right now. Nobody wants to talk about Alabama.

Being a homer of the best teams has its price to pay along the way...GL in the future.

What i don't understand is how homers get bashed when they really have the best insight on their teams. Nobody knows more about a team then a homer. Some people on covers.com want even say who their favorite teams are because the bashing homers get here.

Believe me capping or not every person here has a favorite team thats how they got into college football, not just one day they woke up and started betting college football. If you're proud be proud if you're ashamed of you're team don't tell people who you like this best.

I also see allot of behind kissing here, damn it...be a man is the way i was rasied another thing be a leader and not a follower. Its okay to take peoples opinion into consideration but put them against you're opinion and then decide....Thats my motto!!!!!!!

But one thing capping sports is it takes away from the enjoyment of watching you're team take Alabama this past week, i knew Alabama would win but i thought Ole Miss would cover and during the game i wanted Alabama to stop scoreing because of it. That sucked because i never want to see them stop scoring on any team except when i go against them saying the other team will cover the spread.

Reason i thought Ole Miss would cover was because i thought Saban would pull is starters sooner then he did getting ready for the LSU game to keep them injury free, even though he did start pulling them around 8:00 into the 3rd qt.

He seen the mobility of the Ole Miss qb and knew not to pull his starters in the late second qt, and early 3rd qt.

LSU is going to get whoop good come Nov 5th, and thats from a homer and a football fan outlook. I could be wrong but this one i believe i got it right.

People only listen to a homer if they like the team the homer is talking about or supporting their opinion of the said team

Im not catching hell lol, Like I just said, Im telling the truth and the people bashing don't even watch the games they are bashing about, they just score watch and want certain teams to lose because they are used to them being elite and winning all the time. It is the inferiority complex, usually existing in UGA and FSU fans the most.

OK BAMA fans you have made your points and I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens on Nov 5th. I am a LSU fan and I just dont see a behind whoppin either way. I see a hard fought SEC football game decided in the 4th quarter. BTW who has ALABAMA beat this year that you would call a qualty opponent? Vandy, North Texas St., Ole Miss, Kent St. Florida,??  Probably Arkansas is the only one. Oh well lets see how it all plays out. One way or another I will be back to take my medicine or dish it out !!  LOL Good luck and GEAUX TIGERS !!!!

petelapot,

I hope Alabama fans take more pride then rubbing it in winning a game if you want to thats on you.

When Alabama played Arkansas the starters were pulled in the 4th qt as well as they have done playing every ranked team played this year and some in the 3rd qt. Other games that where not ranked the starters where pulled earlier.

Alabama has put three QB's on the sideline > Arkansas's, Florida's, and Vandy's. One was put in the hospital...Is there a team in college football that has done that to (3) SEC teams (3) weeks in a roll in the history of college football.

People can say it will be a close game i say it will not be a close game, people may disagree and thats fine.

Alabama wins convinceing, and the Media will build it up as a close game thats their job..but the people leaning toward LSU does it because it gives them hope.

If Miles stacks the line to stop the run, McCarron will burn him, if he don't Richardson will burn him along with Lacy...etc.

I'm not saying LSU is a bad team, but i'm saying Alabama is way better.....way better and at home they or a beast on defense against the running game and the passing game.

Arkansas beat Texas AM, who just beat a team with the best QB in college football. Florida was a lot better, before we ended their starting QB's season.

LUCAN, with all due respect I have been to the last 4 LSU/BAMA games. You talk about not rubbing it in? Pleaase last year before the game ALABAMA fans were horrible in Baton Rouge. Im not saying all are like that but it was terrible and amazinghly they couldnt be found after BAMA lost to LSU. Its a heatyed rivalry that may turn out the way you are saying then again it may turn out the way Im saying. Either way its a football game being played by kids that are 18, 19 and 20 years old. Thats why they line up and play the game. As a LSU fan I know wwe will play BAMA many more times in the future so no need to rub it in if we win. What I meant was if wew win I will be back to discuss why we won and if we lose the same thing. Again good luck to you and the Tide.

TAPPY, get a grip, if you think LSU's defense is horrible, obviously you know nothing about football.

this game is won in the trenches. Bama is much more physical than LSU and will wear LSU down over 4 quarters.

LUCAN, you seem like a knowledgeable football guy, give me your perspective on the differences between, BAMA'S Richardson and LSU'S Ware. Thanks

I am sorry, I guess I just compare all other defenses to Alabama's... I guess they aren't horrible, but they aren't anywhere near Alabama's. WV put up over 500 yards on LSU, and Oregon Scored a garbage ton of points, and they were hurting at that point in the season. Bama would have shut those teams down in my opinion.
