You must have been the biggest wuss on the field if you're agreeing with that call. 1) Didn't lead with the head, nor contacted the receiver's head at all. 2) Looked as if he let up at the end. 3) If you're worried about the kid getting hit then either don't play him or don't send him on a slant over the middle in the endzone.
It's a disgrace to the game. The penalty was ridiculous, but the ejection was galactically ridiculous! Protecting players is one thing, but they might as well put flags on if that was a "malicious" hit.
