College Football Week Two (YTD 6-1 +7.90 units)

A good start to the season and since I have decided not to touch the Maryland - Miami game, I thought it was time to move on to week two. 

Hopefully some of you all saw my posts where I suggested not to take SMU plus the points.  I honestly did not have a good feel for the spread, but thought the play was A&M or nothing.  Both of my A&M wins were on the total (over for the game and under for the second half).

Anyways, I will be back later with plays for this week.

Notre Dame -3 -125 (2 units)
The Notre Dame team that lost to South Florida is not the Notre Dame team we will see at the Big House this weekend (in my opinion).  With Rees starting at QB, I really think the Irish will be able to move the ball well on the Wolverines.  Add-in the fact that this fits in perfectly with a system I really like.  Basically, any time a double digit home favorite loses outright, I like to play them in their next game.  The reason is because often times that team is undervalued the following week with everyone focusing on the upset.  At any rate, forgetting about that system, I just think that Notre Dame will do enough to win this one by more than 3 points to get Brian Kelly and the Irish back on track.

Nice week you had there. A&M offense looked good as I thought it would. Don't know what the deal was with two blocked extra points though.

Adding:

Bama/Penn St u42 -110 (1 unit)
Bama won quite easily against Kent State (which is to be expected), but they turned the ball over quite a bit and they had a third down conversion rate around 20%.  This doesn't bode real well against an experienced Nittany Lion defense.  Meanwhile, on the opposite side, Bama's defense is ridiculously strong.  Basically, what I am saying is that I think this will be a defensive struggle with the first team to 20 winning.  While I did give the impression I don't like Bama's offense, I absolutely love there defense (I think it is the best in the country).  So, with that said, I see this one being 21-13 or something like that with Bama winning.

Great start and I like both plays this week. I already bet Penn St , and am thinking about parlaying them with the under as I really dont see Penn St scoring more than 17.....
