Navy has passed the ball at most 8 times a game or even 10. The rush like crazy and from what I have read, the field is in terrible condition from all the rain fall. Wouldnt this make it hard to rush and run all over it all game?
I like SD State here especially if they are up 2 TD's, how would Navy catch up? Just my opinion.

The game definitly favors Navy, look at all that water. I am sure NAVY would prefer a sea battle to one fought on solid ground. I mean geez, this is the Navy and water is an important part of what they are all about. Swim cadets, the addition of a large amount of water should give you quite an advantage, as I am sure you have had special training on how to deal with large quanities of H2O. Thanks..

Agreed. Also keep in mind SDSU has 2 WR's who will be playing in the NFL next year (Brown and Sampson) how can anyone think they Navy DB's will be able to stop them rain or no rain? At least in the rain WR's have the advantage of knowing where their going and where they'll be cutting. DB's will be on their heels reacting and trying to plant/run with these NFL quality WR's? Good luck

i watched utah vs sdsu game and it was raining that game in sd and the aztecs dominated in the 1H but went to crap 2H. i don't think rain will be an issue for them to throw it around so best bet 1Q sdsu.

Very good point, it was raining that night and I believe Lindley threw for 450 plus yards.

Hasn't anyone ever seen a game played in a down pour when the field gets soaked? All either team can do is run the ball straight up the field. So unless the Aztecs are goimg to run fly patterns all night, a flooded field favors Navy. The post about the receivers knowing where they are going and they DBs having to react misses the point. Receivers have to be able plant and make cuts or they are useless on the field. Good luck with that tonight.

Totally disagree. I've played football and it's an advantage knowing where you're going and where you'll be cutting. You can prepare for it and do so more efficiently then a DB who has to quickly react to what he's seeing and where the WR is going.
