10 Units Baylor -6.5

Just love this Baylor team. Griffin is very mature and not making many mistakes. He can really carry a team and I dont even think its necessary against K State.  They are the biggest fraud of a 5-1 team I have ever seen. Their defense cant stop a thing and are atrocious against the run. Baylor has way too many athletes on offense not to run away with this thing. Kansas State way overvalued after a trouncing of Kansas on National TV not too long ago.

10 Units Northwestern +6

I love this spot. Northwestern with two weeks to prepare and on Homecoming. This is where I throw the teams out the window. I dont care who steps onto that field or what stats they have. This is a fantastic time for a team to pull a win. They have an Undefeated, Top 10 ranked team coming into town. How dont they get up for this game? Just hoping the emotion carries us through the game.

10 Units Utah State +4

I think if you are betting on Hawaii here, you are missing the boat. They are just off two huge wins as underdogs including knocking off everyone's flavor of the month - Nevada. This is the time where they are going to be overvalued. Never bet on a team after a win as an underdog when they are favored the following week - I know, broken record. Utah State is a tough place to play and I think all this travel catches up to Hawaii and a veteran Utah State team gets the job done.

Damn, I almost made this one 20. I dont think Auburn has a chance in hell of covering. This team cant stop anything and even Ryan Mallet lite threw all over them. I dont think Newton can be stopped, but I think if a team can slow him, its LSU. And listen, I know Miles is a putts. But you cannot deny the fact that the guy wins ballgames. Put him in the favorite role? Clueless bumbling moron. As a dog? His teams excel. Auburn goes down on their home turf and there will be no T Shirts made after this bitch.

10 Units Oklahoma State +6

Listen, I dont blame anyone for liking Nebraska, who doesnt? I mean, a week ago people were thinking National Champions and DD wins over Texas. One week isnt going to temper the thoughts of Nebraska being superior, they are going to 'bounce back'. But....I feel truly the opposite. I think they get stuck in a bit of a hangover here. Thats a horribly deflating loss for a team.

Nebraska was exposed for what they are last week, a one-dimensional offense and a great defense. But a defense that can be run on - in comes Kendall Hunter. Only one of the top 3 RBs in the nation. He runs behind a monster, veteran offensive line. I also think that if you think the best WR in the nation is going to get shut out, you are crazy....Blackmon is too good. I dont see Oklahoma State shutting Nebraska down, but I do see them making enough stops playing at home in front of a loud raucous crowd. Do I think I have the better team? No. But I will take the team with the intangibles on their side and hope they carry them to a cover.

There is a reason this line aint 7, champ. Oklahoma is a fraud. They are one of the worst defensive teams out of all the BCS schools - and, listen, I know thats unfair to say when you have to play offensive juggernauts as Utah State on your own Home Field.

Do you trust Landry Jones on the road here? I dont really. He wasnt impressive against Cincy and took a few too many sacks for my liking. I would rather side with Blaine Gabbert - now that he is continuing to recover from injury, he is continuing to produce and do so big time.

I dont play games on paper, so let me give one of my main reasons for this bet. This is a GIGANTIC game for the Missouri program. Huge. ESPN will be there, Oklahoma is the #3 ranked team in the country and they are undefeated. They have a target on their back and I think its going to be a bit too big Saturday night. This place, while I will admit isnt all too intimidating usually, is going to be rocking. This is a team that is killing it on Defense, rolling on Offense right now - they are a confident team with a stadium full of nuts behind them. The emotion will carry them to the biggest win that I can think of for Mizzou in a long time.

I am just playing the spot here. Dont think Texas can keep up that intensity after a huge win last week. Dont ever bet on a team that just won as underdogs when they are favored the next week - you get terrible line value. Iowa State has shown to be able to score at times this year, but I am more betting on Texas being a bit off.

In fairness to Nebraska vs. UT. The Horns have owned Nebraska. Braska had to face a p off horns team that were out of ranking and 2 wks to gameplan. Throw in the fact there were a tons of dropped passes, even 1 for a TD for Braska. OSU on the other hand have been playing well, but their secondary is a suspect and Braska have prolly top 2 DBs in the country in terms of speed/coverage. Braska defense wins this one and cover the #.

In regards to OU...they owned Mizzou much like Neb is owned by UT...the sooners can be 1-10 and still be able to beat a 10-1 Mizzou team. To called OU fraud is very laughable. We've seen 2 #1 dropped out of ranking in back/back week. Sooners get it done by double digit on the road.

Also thinking about Minnesota catchin 9.5 or 10 at home against Penn State, just too many points in a game for two shitty teams, then again maybe that's what vegas wants me to think

Northwestern is my only play this weekend.  in the last 28 games where the wildcats have been dogs in this range (4-10 points), they are 22-6 ATS.  you detailed the situation angle as well.  continued success...

OU may not be a fraud but the only thing very laughable is their #1 BCS ranking. OU is fortunate not to be 3-3 instead of 6-0. They will have their hands full in a sold-out Faurot Field Saturday.
