Thoughts from Week 6
big performance by South Carolina, the old ball coach had something up his sleeve off the bye week, never have been impressed with McElroy as a quarterback but his record does speak for itself, Alabama should still win the SEC Championship game when all is said and done
another fantasy land victory for Les and his Tigers, a clear forward pass that is plain as day on HD Video, I watched it over a dozen times and still can't figure out how the refs didn't overturn that call, just another example of Les Miles living the good life
tough break for Urban and the Gators, but Urban deserves what he gets, once he keeps his players out of handcuffs he can concentrate on getting his program back, the Florida arrest record during Urban's tenure is clearly 2nd to none (nobody is even close to that number)
the Buckeyes rolled through another Big10 foe and will claim the number 1 spot in most polls including mine, TP is the clear front runner for the Heisman Trophy now that Robinson threw 3 picks today and basically played a bad football game against his rival
the Arkansas/Texas A&M was ugly, both teams played poorly and the Hogs are glad to escape with a win, now they have a big road test this week at Auburn, I will most likely be looking for a bet on the Hogs as an underdog in that game, Mallet should have a good passing day against the Tigers and Auburn can't go undefeated, I'll be looking for a Hogs bet if the line is right
the Baylor/Texas Tech game was great, alot of scoring and it came down to the end, Tuberville hasn't had a positive effect on the Raider defense to this point in the season, maybe he needs to get his own players in there, Tech hosts the Pokes next week in Lubbock and I'll be looking for Red Raider play as a small favorite
Syracuse got a straight up win for me at South Florida, I know I was one of the only guys around on the Cuse in this game but I had watched South Florida a few times and they are terrible offensively, they should get rolled next week at West Virginia
I'm interested to see the Air Force/SDSU line for this week, the Aztecs came back to earth today and played like the Aztecs we all know, that probably hurt my Falcon line value but I would still think Air Force should beat them in San Diego, the Falcons are a well coached football team
about to look at NFL games for tomorrow so I will have more thoughts on Week 6 later, now to the new Top 10
