Wahoo - long time reader of your posts....you have had many winning weeks....

1 game to check out is Illinois +8 at Penn St....probably will be a low scoring game....catching more than a TD....Illinois has really improved while I don't think Penn St is really very good at all.  Illini D was impressive last week with Ohio St....

Best of Luck.  Keep up the good work and research!

Love seeing you on Stanford and Arkansas buddy. How do you feel about NC State this week playing BC in Raleigh coming off a loss to Va Tech? Nc State's coach O'Brien used to coach BC and might want to whip on them after losing the past 2 years. BC has looked like crap all year and Va Tech and ND pounded them at home. This is BC's first road game all year too.

  11. California - 7

card is nearly done, will add a few more and possibly get rid of two of these, narrowing things down, would like 9-13 plays in total this week, we will see how it plays out

looking at LaffyTaffy, Mizzou, SDSU, Houston, Kentucky, Boise, Michigan, Fighting Zooks, Spurriers Kids, Washington and who knows what else will pop up, many possible games still looming

Boston College is so bad Bill but I don't know how confident I could be laying that kind of number with NC State, that isn't typical for them to be laying in conference play, I bet the Pack a couple of weeks ago when they were catching 9 at Georgia Tech, now they are laying that same number?  just seems like a high number to me

that being said, Boston College has one of the worst offenses out of all of the schools from major conferences, it is frightening how bad they look trying to move the football

I agree with you on Stanford and Arkansas

That Cincy play a straight fade of Miami (OH) on the road?

Wahoo,

What's your betting angle with Michigan?  Because even though you know I'm a bit biased, I see no reason to lay 4.5 with them.  I'm certainly not saying MSU is that good, but Michigan has sooooo many weaknesses, and some of them are glaring weaknesses!

Has there ever been a Wahoos pick as chalky as -27?  Can't recall one.  I never seem to get Vegas right, but it does have a certain 42-3 feel to it.

I was surprised that UNC wasn't catching 2.5 or so, and the line has done nothing but move their way since.  Like Mr. GAM, I must be missing something here.  Heels don't do much for me.

I played Tulane on the ML last week (Gar initially made fun of me, and then joined me on the play ), and I also like Army this week.  These two have put up some interesting results in years past, including the Cadets covering by about 55 on the Wave's Homecoming a few years ago.  Got to give Bob Toledo a lot of credit for getting this high school team of his to compete every week.  Will be interesting to watch for attrition as the year goes on, as Tulane has absolutely no depth.

I don't know what to make of the Hoos in this week's inaugural Al Groh Bowl. Is there any way to fade both teams?

WahooS- what's up with the Arky line movement?  I have them at 7 and can't figure out why this line is falling so much.

no, just mad at them for last week, I will most likely get on them against GTech, everyone seems to be hanging with Tech

it was at my line (which is much better than current one)

Cincy look good against OU and is showing some signs of improvement, Pead is good and at home with ample prep time they should be able to take care of business vs the lonely Redhawks

the WVU spread is a rare one for me, but west coast to east coast against a team they can't stop and against a team they will have trouble scoring on was the clincher for me, WVU should put up high 30's or low 40's and that would get the job done in my opinion, a first half play might be a better bet than the game, I'm still wavering on that one

Clemson/UNC is a bad matchup for the Tigers in my opinion, it will be a game in the 20's (scoring wise) and I think the Heels can get it done, Clemson just finds ways to lose games and they may have the worst group of WR's known to man

Yates has also been solid this year and has shown alot of improvement, I like the Heels in this spot

best of luck with your Stanford game, I'm with you and I hope we can bring it home

Like Arkansas, Stanford, and Army. Actually on Clemson at +3 this week. Just still not a believer in UNC. What do you see in them?

Going with SDSU, tempted by Carolina and possible Illinois. Already on MSU getting points. I see that being a 3-4 point game either way. Guess you've already been asked about that one.

no idea but Arky is in good spirits for this game and their offense should shred the Aggie defense, as long as Mallet doesn't play like he did in the 4th quarter against Bama then I'm very comfortable with the Arky number Johnson is making alot of mistakes for A&M and doesn't seem to be improving like most thought he would

not to mention the huge coaching mismatch in this one, Sherman is somewhat of a disaster for the Ags

I just like the spot for the Wolverines, I think their defense will play better at home and I'm not sold on Sparty, Michigan will simply outscore them in my opinion

I saw UH suspended its top receiver for the MSU game.  That's probably enough to get me to leave that alone.

Johnson is making a lot of mistakes for A&M and doesn't seem to be improving like most thought he would

completely agree here....it also seems like he has only one real weapon in that wide reciever position...if A&M run game is not successful and they are forced to pass more often then they would like I see some interceptions being thrown.....because although that reciever on the left side (can't remember his name) is a really good rec; he needs more options when trailing in a game.

BTW...would you still take CINN under -17?

Thanks

Laying 4 TDs with Bill Stewart is almost certain to end up in

I do like Cal a lot though...think people are going to be suckered in by the pistol angle.
