BYU vs Utah St

BYU a nice favorite on the road with a terrible qb and a chicken shit coach calling plays, I will be following this line all week as Utah ST will prob be a nice play.

Cougars backed against the wall and all losses are quality.  Would be careful backing an aggie team that is a little banged up and playing terrible football for the last six quarters.

This game has PASS written all over it.

Backing the home 'dog here is risky because Utah St. stinks.

BYU isn't very good, either. They're slow, offensively challenged..

BTW, Clowncar ...you call the ass-kicking the Cougars' endured at the hands of FSU a quality loss??

methinks not.

BOL to you guys however you play the game...but I think I will wait for the Saturday slate...

As soon as i saw this line i jumped on BYU as i see this line jumping before game if not the end of the day. Utah St's starting running back out for season (acl) and they have been in this same spot at home and was routed by a mediocre at best Fresno St squad so i dont see this game being a problem. Not to mention BYU has their backs against the wall.

You don't think BYU's backs were against the wall at home vs Nevada?  They are very slow, the coach makes horrible calls and the qb misses to many throws, I will take my chances with the +6 and hope for a miracle, easy winner UTAH STATE +6

I am a USU grad and follow them pretty close.  I believe we now have 7 starters out for this game or severely hampered.  This game will be UGLY football as the USU secondary sucks without Randle in there.

Why wouldnt he be in there? Played last game....

Not that they didnt suck, but everyone here was stating how Randle and Coleman were going to miss the game this past Saturday. They didnt.....

If USU has so many injuries, why did the line drop from Utah State +6 to USU +5.5??

There is nothing here that points to taking Utah St besides being a home dog... They hung with OU week one big deal. As we have seen OU does not get up for bad teams.... No doubt BYU is the easy winner here... Don't be dumb!!!!

SD local here...SDSU beat the sh -- outta Utah St  41-7 fake FG and all..BYU will muster up enough to take this banged up lack lust squad out....

I think there is a system that says home dogs on Friday Night Lights game cover almost every time.

Last time we had the same scenario (October 3rd 2008) when a very good 8th ranked BYU played at a crappy Utah-State team, had the spread covered in the 3rd and lost.

Last week TCU failed to cover against SMU. It took a missed PAT and a yard on a 4th down conversion. But it happened.

If anything USU is the play here. But I'll probably be staying away.

Don't forget when CAL played Nevada on Friday Night.  CAL favored by 3 and got their ass whooped.

Not everyone lost on TCU.  A lot of people had the game at 17, a push, other wise, 17 1/2 or better covered for SMU.  BOL

The under would be my play if I had to make a choice. Nearly 70% of the public is on BYU yet the spead has dropped a point and a half. Best bet is a NO bet.
