Guys, Rodriguez has much to prove to Michigan alumni. They are coming off a less than dismal season. I am bias to the boys in blue, but this does not make it a pick from the heart. Michigan has a statement game right out of the gate. If you want a laydown today, take the ML. Line is an easy push, but Mich comes out to cover by 10+ opening on their field after a D2 defeat last year and Rodriguez cannt afford after what they agreed to pay.

Mich easiest POD with spread IMO. GL ALL

I find this an interesting matchup, as reflected in the line...downcap, I agree, pressure on michigan - at home, on national TV, etc...in the old days, a mathchup with uconn would be a preseason rollover &amp; tuneup...not so this year with the uncertaities involved with the coach &amp; remaining players who have not defected to ostensibly greener pastures...will be interesting to see how uconn handles atmosphere of the "large house"...given the pressures on mich &amp; the raucous environment, and uncertainties with either teams offensive weapons,(due both to the fact it is 1st game and fact that neither roster is set in stone) my $ is going squarely on the 1st half under...26.5 at my shop....dont see either team risking anything early with whats at stake...(obviously uconn picking off mich at home would be huge for that program, and mich cannot continue its downward spiral from last year)...BOL to all......

also on Uconn.  Uconn has a very decent shot winning this game SU.  So why not take the free FG cushion.  Michigan was just to dismal last year to simply forget.  I think the only reason Mich is favored is because they&#x27;re playing in the Big house.  On a neutral field I see Uconn favored.

Uconn returns 16 starters.Michigan is a popular &#x27;name brand&#x27; team that will always get inflated lines.The play here is Uconn or nothing imo.

I am on UConn as well.  As the title of the thread says "Michigan has everything to lose".  In my opinion, that means they could come out a little bit tight.  As someone else said, UConn returns 16 starters and thus shouldn&#x27;t be overwhelmed by playing in the Big House.  We&#x27;ll see, but I really like UConn today.
