First of all let me state once more that I am from Columbus and love my buckeyes. My concern is over coach Tressel and the handling of T. Pryor. I am not a Tressel basher, I believe that his overall record speaks for itself. I realize the bashers will say that the buckeyes play in the shitty big ten. That is obviously not Tressel's fault, he can only play the teams that are scheduled. I realize that they have lost big games as of late, however, they have also played well in a few of the big games during his tenure.
Now to the point of this thread....Tressel was able to land the prized recruit in Pryor. However, due to the way that Tressel game plans(it is successful) I feel that Pryor must sit at night and question his decision to attend Ohio State. I dont want to hear that all that matters to him is winning, that is bullshit. This kid had to believe that the buckeyes were a short pit stop on his way to the pros. I cant help but think Tressel's game planning and minimizing of a play book has really, really, stunted his development, I realize I am speaking the obvious but I have to say it anyways!
I believe that Tressel had a tremendous opportunity continue to land this kind of athlete by allowing Pryor to do sooo much more than he does. I believe that Tressel has ruined any chance of landing this kind of prized recruit/quarterback in the future and that is unfortunate for me as a buckeye fan. Do we honestly think that the quartebacks in high school that are considering the top schools want to play for Tressel? There is no way in hell that the kids are saying I cant wait to get to Ohio State and throw for 68 yards a game!
As a buckeye fan I am happy with a win over Michigan however, I feel that we should be capable of so much more but it is not happening, nor is it going to happen as long as the sweater vest is calling the plays! I realize that this thread is long and meaningless to most but I needed to get this off of my chest. BOL to all in your picks in the future!

I was a firm believer that Pryor shoulda went to Oregon outta high school. He would have been a God in that offense.
Considering that Jeremiah Masoli is kiling it despite not being half the athlete Pryor is makes me believe that even more.
A few years ago, Oregon's Dennis Dixon was a similar qb to Pryor in skillset and ability. He was the leading Heisman candidiate and had Oregon ranked #2 and on the verge of playing for the national championship before he blew his knee out.
Oregon's offense is tailor made for Terrelle Pryor, and he woulda did big things there. Oh well.

What type of offense do you think Pryor should be playing in? Everytime time I've seen them call a play that's intended to break a guy free deep down field, Pryor over throws him by 5-10 yards when he's wide open. His deep ball pass accuracy is not that good if you ask me. He's a heck of an athelete, but a mediocre QB overall at best IMO.
I think the short field, game management type offense is the best fit for him - not slinging the ball all over the place or having him run the ball on every other play and getting a knee blown out. JMO
