Its only a sucker bet if the majority loses. So, its really no big deal what you call it -- i'm just going by the numbers and eventual result. I don't read into lines but these two games wreak fishiness.

70% Texas A&M -3
30% Colorado +3

73% Houston -1
27% Tulsa +1

My GAME OF THE WEEK:

550/500 Houston -1 -110

Another strong play for Saturday:

210/200 Colorado +3 -105

Just 2 games for now. I might add a Saturday night game, maybe some PAC-10 action.

Sunday night:

Leaning San Jose State plus the points.

GL & cheers!

Mojos and a brief write-up about Tulsa's deficiency below.

HOUSTON COUGARS OFFENSE & O-LINE:

QB B-/C-Case Keenum; RB C+Bryce Beall; WR C+James Cleveland; WR B-Tyron Carrier; WR B-/C+Patrick Edwards; WR/RB C-Charles Sims

RT C+Jarve Dean; RG C-Chris Thompson; C B+Carl Barnett; LG B+Jordan Shoemaker; LT B-/C-Jacolby Ashworth

HOUSTON COUGARS DEFENSE:

NT C-Isaiah Thompson; DT C-David Hunter; DE B+Zeke Riser; DE C-Tyrell Graham; LB B+Kris Johnston; LB A+Marcus McGraw; LB C+C.J. Cavness; SS C-Carson Blackmon; FS B-Nick Saenz; CB B-/C+Brandon Brinkley; CB AJamal Robinson

TULSA GOLDEN HURRICANE OFFENSE & O-LINE:

QB C+G.J. Kinne; RB B+Jamad Williams; WR B-/C+Damaris Johnson; WR C-Slick Shelley; WR C-Trae Johnson; WR C-A.J. Whitmore

RT B-Brandon Thomas; RG B-Curt Puckett; C n/aTrent Dupy; LG C-/D-Clint Anderson; LT n/aJared Grigg or C+Tyler Holmes

TULSA GOLDEN HURRICANE DEFENSE:

NT B-/C-+Wilson Garrison; DE C-Odrick Ray; DE C-Cory Dorris; LB AGeorge Clinkscale; LB C-Mike Bryan; LB C-Tanner Antle; BAN n/aDeAundre Brown; SS C+James Lockett; FS n/aDexter McCoil; CB C-Jon Destin; CB B-Kenny Sims

Tulsa O-Line notes: Trent Dupy, a freshman, starts at center today. The former center, Clint Anderson, have been moved to LG. Another freshman, Jared Grigg, starts at left-tackle if Tyler Holmes isn't suiting up.

Before the season started, i figured that this Tulsa offense might take a few steps backwards this season. Primarily because of a new QB and the O-Line lost 3 starters from last season. Kinne doesn't look all that bad but he hasn't exactly been an instant upgrade over Paul Smith nor David Johnson; but -- Kinne's mediocre numbers isn't entirely his fault. Because indeed, this Tulsa O-Line does have holes on all sides. Through 8 games, Coach Graham have put up about 6 line-up changes. Those moves in the depth charts alone should give you a hint that Tulsa doesn't win the battle in the trenches and can't protect G.J. Kinne. Tulsa have yet to find a dedicated snapper -- there is no depth at center; ditto for the Kinne's blind-side. Curt Puckett is the team's most experienced guard and he has played every position up front to try and fill those holes. Tyler Holmes the other experienced guard is healthy again [after being out for 6 weeks] but i'm not certain of his status for this game.

To sum up how bad these guards and tackles have been, i'll give you Tulsa's sacks-allowed numbers compared to Houston's. This Tulsa O-Line have allowed 31 sacks. Through the same amount of games, Houston's O-Line have only allowed 10 sacks. That is a glaring difference.

Other tidbits below.

Houston Turnover Margin: +7
Tulsa Turnover Margin: +7

Houston Penalties-Yards: 34-347
Tulsa Penalties-Yards: 46-458

I'll take the better team with the better QB & O-Line.

Well. They did cut into that lead.

Fackin' Spurs. Unreal.

NBA is so situational. Can't fade a hungry team coming off consecutive losses and playing at home.

I was on Houston last Sunday at 3 and now am all over it at 1.5.

Could be a trap but looks too good to pass up.

I always laugh when I see how you grade out players...QB Jerrod Johnson is NOT a C-, LMFAO.  Wish we had him here at Iowa.  He is at least another gade higher, if not a solid B, B+.

JJ   312  190   61%  2365 yds    20 td  3 int's.

Yeah, he is a C- allright.  Oh, btw, he has rushed for 266 yards and S"I"X touchdowns.

Tyler Hansen.  You are rating him equal, or higher than JJ???

REALLY??????

TH   227   114   50%   1 td   2 ints.

Do you even look at stats?  And we are supposed to take advice from you??  Tyler Hansen is a D+ right now, maybe a C-, maybe if you are a Buffs fan.   Did you know their highest rated recruit RB is transfering?  Did you know the fans are fed up?  Thanks for reaffirming my play.

Nor do the grades have anything to do with the past.

Because we ALL know about the past.

We ALL know that Tom Brady is an A+ quarterback.

The question is: do you think Tom Brady will put up an A-game for all 16 games per season?

We ALL know that Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are the 2 best players in the tennis universe.

The questions is: do you think that both Federer and Nadal can't lose to Juan Martin Del Potro or Novak Djokovic because they should put up A-rated games for every tournament throughout the year?

We ALL know that Tiger Woods is an A-rated golfer.

The question is: do you think he puts up an A-game in every tournament?

We ALL know that LeBron James is an A+ player.

The question is: do you think he will play an A+ game for all 80-plus games per season?

You still don't get it do you?

Don't talk to me about the past and what each player should be rated.

We ALL know ABOUT the past.

Then why post them?  If they are not even accurate, why do it?  Never saw he didn't make them up, but what does it matter?  I realize this is your boyfriend, but get a clue moron.  Posts like that do nothing to help anyone.  The info is flat out wrong.  They are ridiculous and embarassing to the poster who posts them.  Small brain is better than you with NO brain.

Obviously, you need assistance.  Here's good info:  Teams record, and who they have played, or SOS.  Returning LM,  Injuries, weather, momentum, what was/is said.  Revenge.  Talent, coaching, to name just a few.  Also helps if you watch some games.  You have posted nothing worthwhile, except to discredit me.  I am just trying to help folks who might really believe that crap.  Posting inaccurate "grades" on players helps nobody.  Serious, Jerrod Johnson a C-, 61% comp, 20 TD's 3 int, 6 rushing TD.  Yeah, good one.

You don't even make sense.  You are grading on the future, or potential then?  Nobody can even know what that will be.  They only play 12 or so games in CFB, kane, that is all I was posting.  Accurate information THIS year.  Jerrod Johnson had his sucky game against Kansas State, of course everyone has them.  For a body of work so far this SEASON, and that is all we can really judge them on in CFB.  He is a very, very good QB.  From Tyler Hansen body of work so far, he is mediocre.  50%, 1 TD and 2 ints.  Not good, not very experience.  Good info when capping a game, wouldn't you think?  Talk to me after the game.

Oh, yeah. Of course these grades aren't 100% correct. Otherwise i'd be a 100% handicapper.

Yes, sir. 100% handicapper. How about that?

But you know what? I settle for being 50% accurate and up +40 units for the MLB season and already up +22 units in the NHL season.

Wow. Imagine if these ratings were 100% correct. How many units would i be up if...?

Just wow.

Imagine if every poster on here could exactly 100% call every blow-out and every upset.

Wow. Just amazing. Imagine that.

So, in essence, you're saying that its wrong to try and predict how each player will perform in an upcoming game?

I thought this was a handicapping forum and i'm just offering my opinions and system for reference?

"You are grading on the future, or potential then?  Nobody can even know what that will be."

Then....

what is the point of betting on a game?  And you have posters calling blow-outs and upsets and claming POY's, GOM's, POD's, GMZ's, FYT's, NSF's, MSRP's & OPP's? What exactly is that? Is that not the same thing as trying to predict the future?

I'm lovin' Houston & pleased the grades were/are favorable! I was a little paranoid about the line, but can find no "alterior" info that points the other way. I didn't even find the word 'flu' anywhere.

Again, thanks for the work!

Don't tit-for-tat with guys like Bandit. He's a veteran, assumably for good reason. He seems to cap with all the basics. He's old school and can't see the value of your efforts as an additional tool for capping. It's like running a business with out a strategy for the future. Possibly successful, but lacking the vision to create more profitability.
