First off, while your making your bets and watchin ur boys throw the ball. Make sure to keep those who lost their lives at the camp down in Texas. Just remember how lucky we are for their sacrifice.
But now to yesterday....
Eh, what can I say, it was gutsy taking Boise minus the points along with 85% of the public goin with ya. But how can you say no to a team that has scored no fewer than 45 points in its 4 WAC games this year. But when you have a team that had 3 chances to put in a TD but go to accept a FG, there's no way they can win by 21 points. But I'll accept the loss. Congrats to all the dog backers. But today I'll make up these units.
Saturday's Picks
Texas A&M -3:(2 units) I locked this in yesterday it just looked so good. Colorado is on a two game losing streak that has them inviting a fast scoring A&M team into Folsom Stadium. Jerrod Johnson can fling the ball and will look for some espn highlights to silence the Colorado crowd which will be looking to right the ship of their Colorado team. Both teams are .500 home and away. One of Col. loss to a mediocre Colorado St. So I think the Aggies will arrive in Colorado and it wont be a high high scoring game but Texas wins by at least a TD
Texas: 31 Colorado: 24
Northwestern +15.5 (.5 units) I'm timid about this play, but seeing Indiana come into Iowa and manhandling them for 3 quarters, why cant Northwestern's good team do it too. I'm only laying half a unit just because of the uncertainty by it. But the last two times Northwest came into Iowa, they beat them outright, so it's something to look at.
Over 40 LSU vs. Alabama (1 units) I know these are two great defenses, but when two powerhouse scoring teams meet and the total is only 40, I'll bite. They've put up 42+ in their past 3 meetings, 75 the last time they were in Tuscaloosa.
My other quick picks:
Oregon -7 (1 unit)
Houston -1.5 (1 unit)
Vandy +35 (.5 unit)
Oregon St. +7 (1 unit)
