Boise knows that the remote slim chance to battle against TCU, Cincy, BYU, Georgia Tech and Iowa that they absolute must garner those all important STYLE POINTS.
The school has contracted with an Idaho Public Relations Firm and has already began a voter campaign in order to sway votes based on STYLE POINTS and strength of schedule.
I have a tail end of a parlay having Boise up by at least 13.5 at the first half. I see them attacking and trying to get LTech out of the game early in order to try and pour on the points. If the school has hired a PR firm you know that they have a game plan to get those Style Points and are going to come out fast. They really want to get a BCS Bowl Bid. Will it happen probably not but they are indicating they are willing to invest it getting there. I expect Boise to run plays that LTech hasn't seen on film and it will be up to LTech to adjust at half.
Power Rating Boise # 5 LTech #76.
Good Luck to all and may we all be on the right side.

They were very unimpressive in their last Nationally Televised game against Tulsa. They gave up a few big plays on trick plays, and failed to cover. They have been leapfrogged in the polls, and really need an impressive showing. LA Tech's offense really revolves around their rushing game, and from what I hear Porter isn't playing tonight. I like Boise at anything under 21

BCS computers are not swayed by style points (not help to Boise State) and don't account for a lack of style points (not hurting Iowa) Heck....the machines do not take into account margin of victory, which is why the Iowa Hawkeyes are getting so much love still from the BCS....the Hawkeyes on Sunday were first or second in 5 of the 6 computer rankings the BCS uses, largely because their opponents are a combined 17 games over .500

Hey no offense....but simply put:
BCS computers are not swayed by style points (not help to Boise State) and don't account for a lack of style points (not hurting Iowa) Heck....the machines do not take into account margin of victory, which is why the Iowa Hawkeyes are getting so much love still from the BCS....the Hawkeyes on Sunday were first or second in 5 of the 6 computer rankings the BCS uses, largely because their opponents are a combined 17 games over .500
Headache, I realize that the BCS Computers don't account for Style Points. That is why they hired a PR firm. Certainly the PR Firm won't sway the computers but they may sway a couple of voters; and like I said not enough to get them in to a BCS bowl.
My main point is that when I read they had hired a PR Firm they were doing whatever the school can to generate them bid consideration and that in-turn leads to trying to tack on the points with any victories they may have coming.
Like I stated before I don't see them making it to one of the Big Four games but I know they will be trying like hell.
That being said I like them to be up by two scores in the first half. Just my two cents and what I have riding on the game. Letting the parlay ride and not trying to hedge.

Well I am going to disagree respectfully on a couple of things...first off, I believe that Boise State is going to make it into a BCS bowl game for sure...they just have to win out, which I believe they will....the only hiccup in the road that I see is when they play Nevada...that is a game that I watching very closely down the road...
And the second part I disagree on is the play tonight...I am rolling LT tonight, but hey we both could end up winning some coin.
Best of Luck, and you are right...hiring a PR is something else, and they are pulling out all of the stops.
