#1 Posted: 11/1/2009 7:44:33 PM First lets recap this weekend 63-61 YTD I should be tracking Units but I'm not going to, don't really feel like it personally will do for the bowl games though.
Louisville -3 (10) Boston College -4.5 (5) Notre Dame -15.5 1H (5) Northern Illinois -10 (5) Oregon +3.5 (5) Boise State -35 (5) Michigan -7.5 (2) Iowa State +7 (2) South Carolina +6 (2) Indiana +17.5 (2)
6-4 Saturday but every big play connected. 8-5 on the week.
+29
Units for the week...+26.1 Saturday
Did some damage in the NFL as well...
Congratulations to Brett Favre he really deserved that today.. Moving On... Haven't had a really good chance to look at the lines yet. Just noticed I don't have a line for Notre Dame/Navy yet. Michael Floyd makes that much of a difference in the line
MRI tomorrow on Floyd. Hopefully good results. If he comes back and plays in the last 4 games they will win all 4 guarantee it.
Initial Leans...
Pittsburgh -19 West Virginia -20 LSU +9 Texas A&M -4 - I can't believe this line is this low. The way A&M can fling the ball around. Colorado cannot stop anyone.
Probably be back later. Might lock that A&M play in. Just don't know how hard I want to play that yet.

Yeah I'm liking catching 9 in any SEC game. Especially with a team the caliber of LSU.
I'm sure I'll take a look at that eventually moving very slowly at this point. Good luck

#9 Posted: 11/1/2009 9:13:52 PM I was thinking of releasing my power rankings for the first time...but I don't know. Might give some people too much of an advantage
I think everyone would be extremely surprised by the huge drop off between some teams. It hasn't really failed. I just don't use it that much. Because I'm a moron
Like Texas I had them as a 21 point favorite. Still didn't take it. Why? Because I hate Colt McCoy. Most of my lines are pretty close to Vegas. I just don't know if I trust it enough to put it out yet. Might wait until bowl season. Still tweaking it just a bit.

any thoughts on oregon-5? i know you said you hadn't looked yet but seems fishy. Oregon destroys usc and now only lay 5 to stanford??hmmm Whodey help me out here bud. Should i fire away or is something up? Am i not seeing something?
also leaning houston-2.5, virgina+13,KU-2.5, and vandy+32.5(even though they suck i like the almost 5td spread) these r allleans as i need to look further but really considering getting the oregon play in soon and big. I will jump on your coattails on that oklahoma play as i see huge value at -6 and imo line will def go up steadily.
oregon -6??
thank you in advance |

#14 Posted: 11/1/2009 11:37:21 PM I still see Oregon at -5...any major injuries for the Ducks from Saturday? Thats my first question...We will break this down and make the best play possible. At -5-6.5 I think its going to have to warrant a play we just need to figure out how big. So give me updates on injuries for both squads first. I'll dig on some other things. |

I don't think Vandy will score on Florida...My guess is 3-7 points. So if you don't think Florida puts up more than 40...
Kansas State is playing well, that is a really bad line I hate laying 3 points on the road. Always get bit in the ass.
Vagina I'll pass they look really bad sometimes, sometimes they look good. I have no clue what to think in that game.
Houston seems like a decent play but -3 on the road spot again. Man its really hard for me to make decisions right now. I played these games up top because they all fit into the range. Now, with most the rest of the plays I'll be breaking them down probably starting tomorrow. Might be tonight, because my insomnia might be kicking in. I've been averaging 2-4 hours of sleep for the past 3 weeks a night

#18 Posted: 11/1/2009 11:55:40 PM UCONN - I don't have a line yet what is it? PSU - I'm really going to look at this game tomorrow. BAMA - Leaning LSU, but I don't trust Jefferson so we will see. Might look for 10+ STAN - Why? Leaning Oregon here..Little explanation! MEM - I'm staying the hell away from this game. CLEM - I think I would play Florida State at this point...
Jesus we really aren't on the same page
Texas A&M is really really undervalued right now. You better check that game out.

This is just a quick look Whodey. Have not digested anything yet nor will I begin to until tomorrow. You gotta remember I pick the games that tend to stray far away from what people like. Thursday I like ECU, MIA(OH) , and NIU.

#22 Posted: 11/2/2009 12:04:33 AM thanks whodey, i defintley have some homework to do. I'll get at it tommorrow and tuesday and put together something good and get back to u. I wish unc and boomboom were not on stanford. Wonder what wahoos thinks? hmmm wondering if stanford backers are thinking they match up well or its a "letdown" spot for oregon after that amazing show of force last night. I dont really believ in letdowns. I have no clue on the injury report as i kinda just glanced at lines to see what jumped out. I know you are not at all a yankee fan but I am huge and they just won big too---covered the -2.5 run line I sprinkled on!!!! what a shit game with marshall/ucf -----hit smakk play on 2nd half ucf over 13.5 lol (was like 1/4unit lol) thanks again who---ur insight has helped me along the way huge. If i like a play and you are on it it usually pays dividends. If i like a play and your on oppisite i get crushed ___ie Vikings!!!!
iIl do some research on the oregon game
Unc- whats up with stanford lean?? |

#25 Posted: 11/2/2009 12:29:05 AM UNC - I'm the same way man I like some really shady games sometimes... Temple is going to clobber Miami (OH) - Better hope you get about 14.5 or so
I wouldn't take Miami unless I was catching 21.5 Thats how far that line is off in my opinion.
