#1 Posted: 10/28/2009 3:32:15 PM Okay guys get ready for the best "squeeze" play I've ever seen. Ohio State is laying 44 to NMST and the total is 48.5. The play is bet NMST +44 and OVER 48.5. The only way to lose both bets is if OSU wins 45,46,47, or 48 to zip! |

#3 Posted: 10/28/2009 3:39:04 PM I just found a better one. LSU -35.5 against Tulane and total is 36.5. Is that right? |

#4 Posted: 10/28/2009 3:39:09 PM It would be the over - you could lose both bets in his scenerio 45,46,47,48 to 0 if you took the under. |

#7 Posted: 10/28/2009 3:46:30 PM so you are hoping for a split? how the hell do you win money when its a split with juice on both plays?

If your taking NMST your assuming the game goes under. You assume that Ohio State won't allow any scoring. You also assume that they don't score more than 44.5 points. That's why you take the under. Thats the only way you take NMSU. And the only way you do something like this. If you think they cover you take the under. If you like Ohio State you take the over. Duh

#9 Posted: 10/28/2009 3:51:07 PM Yeah, that LSU total is wrong on this website. You are hoping for NMSU and the OVER. Chances are you push, but very little risk of losing both. |

#10 Posted: 10/28/2009 3:52:54 PM what he is saying that the worse case scenario is that he will push and not lose...and if hes lucky then he will win both way..in other words its kinda like free money.....but u never know.

This is an excellent strategy. I may lay some serious (for me) on that game. Thanks |

#15 Posted: 10/29/2009 11:01:34 AM Don't understand why you would play for split . I think books understood both scenarios you are discussing, and are plenty ok just collecting on the juice. I think if you want any chance at hitting both, the play is NMST + under, or OSU and over. Just my opinion. |

#16 Posted: 10/29/2009 11:01:58 AM Doesn't seem worth it to me to be honest. There are better middle chances to take if you get the lines early. You could obviously lose both here but BOL. |

#17 Posted: 10/29/2009 11:04:51 AM I think it's a good strategy, you're very unlikely to lose both, you'll likely either push and lose the juice, or win both. But, strange things happen sometimes. |

#18 Posted: 10/29/2009 11:19:00 AM In a perfect NCAA Football season world, I see your logic in a big picture sorta way...but too many variables this year. OSU has too many kinnks to work out (and confidence to build) and cannot not predict the very predictable Tressel in this game.
Safest play would 7pt. tease NMST +51, teased O/U to your liking, personally I think its middled either way, for 1 million dollars!!!
With that said, I would have to agree with Whoduh, well, except for the Duh part...Bucks is 100% right, took the words right outta my mouth...classless and unecessary jab IMHO. (It probably was not meant as it read, at least I hope not).
GL and let us know what you decide! |

#19 Posted: 10/29/2009 2:23:14 PM Look, it's pretty much a gimmick play. Chances are if it goes OVER then OSU covers. It is probably a push and lose juice, but very unlikely to lose both sides. I have played these games this way several times over the years and push most of the time, but I have hit both sides many more times than I've lost both. Also, this is one of the tighter ones I have seen. |

#20 Posted: 10/29/2009 4:02:28 PM That's a great play. The odds of losing both are quite slim and who wouldn't risk $100 juice to win $1,000. Good Luck!! |
