I mean, I feel like if he had any clue about coaching, he would still be on the sideline gettin ran out of the stadium..

He must know a little something about coaching. The problem with him is.....he's about 200 years old. By the time he was finished coaching, he was already about 150. So all we get from him now is a bunch of goofball stuff Mark May. But back in the day, he knew how to coach.
