This game is gonna be a goode one. Ole Miss's offense scores 32.5 pts a game & Alabama's defense gives up 14.4 pts a game. Alabama's offense scores 40 pts a game but Ole Miss's defense only gives up 10.8 pts a game. They say defense wins games & Ole Miss certainly has the "D" to do it in this game. The Qb for Ole Miss had 3 picks vs Vandy but over came that & won handily. He didnt have his game face on vs S Carolina either. I believe he had this game circled all along. Snead hasnt shown that he's the Qb that he can be & he has the oppurtunity to show the world that he's as good as people have talked about. Alabama's running back Ingram had a great day vs Kentucky last week, he ran for 140 yds & 2 td's. The difference in this game was Kentucky's 4 turn overs. When you turn the ball over 4 times to an elite team like Alabama, expect a blow out! Snead will have to avoid sacks & turnovers, he will have to use some dink passes & receivers on slants to move the chains. He must throw the ball away if he's in trouble, you cant take a chance of a fumble or an interception vs this Alabama team, they will covert the turnovers into points. Imo, this Ole Miss defense will slow down Ingram & force McElroy to pass down field & if the Ole Miss defense can get pressure on him, he will make mistakes & costly ones at that. Ole Miss's receivers must hold onto the ball. Ole Miss will try to establish the run & if successful to a degree, will allow them to open up the passing game. My prediction, Alabama 24 Ole Miss 20, but dont be suprised if Alabama loses out right!
Ole Miss is 4-0 ATS last 4
OLe Miss is 4-0 ATS last 4 at home vs Alabama
Ole Miss is 10-2 ATS as a homedog of more than 6 points
Ole Miss +6.5 (-110) $2200 to win $2000

I love miss here. I know Bama is great and all but this will be a big game for miss, at home, maybe the biggest of the year. It won't be the biggest for Bama, only one of many kinda big games. I like that situation here.

You've had some nice picks/write-ups but I dont see this one. Alabama is possibly a better team than last year. The QB is better than John Parker Wilson ever was even in his best game. The D is nearly the same. Saban and the tide will win and maybe embaress the Rebs here.
Im not betting this game but the Tide looks a little undervalued and the Rebs stilll overvalued.

I havent looked at Thursdays or Fridays games. I will look at them on the day they play. Weekday games can be tricky & will post if I like anything.

I like Snead is a great QB but have totally unimpressed with him this season - particularly against SC. He is due a breakout, but cant see it happening against Bama. I'm going the other way on this. GL

Are you kidding me with Snead not showing his full potential. For one, he has shown his potential and is being exposed on TV early this year. He has no drive to be at the top and wants to be in the shadows. You can tell by his irrational decisions and his post game remarks. He is going to look foolish this Saturday. ROLL TIDE!!!

Nice write up, PrimeTime. I'm leaning Bammy...haven't pulled the trigger yet. One thing is for sure- I cannot bet the Rebs in this game. It's either Bammy or nothing.

Good Luck PTB! I think Bama gets their obligatory 35ish points this game as well, which means I would need about 28ish from Ole Miss. I just can't feel that confident that they will be able to get that against that Bama defense. Not playing the game..will watch instead...so hope you hit!
