#3 Posted: 10/5/2009 4:31:16 PM TY, somebody said Iowa had it last week, but it was too early I thought. That would have explained their play after the first half, but now we know it was a LOOK AHEAD!

#8 Posted: 10/5/2009 5:17:53 PM BTW, I've always played against the big HC big chalks and on the HC dogs ( ANY Pts). Reason being that the coach of the big fav dresses EVERYONE, he will be more apt to play Srs that havent seen much time ( granted he has a big lead), as for the dogs, and MOST teams schedule a patsy ( gee, I wonder why?) they will play WAY over their respected heads because EVERONE is watching. and for ANYBODY, except the jackass who said its worthless, thats EVER been on a college campus on HC, there are MANY distractions on that weekend. I've always known it to be as good a tool as there is. Just wanted to share, for those 'cappers that didnt already know this.GL all

#10 Posted: 10/5/2009 5:26:11 PM It usually works the best when using the "Big" teams playing lesser opponents, later in the season, but there may be a beauty in there. If not we'll wait till next week.

#12 Posted: 10/5/2009 5:31:19 PM ,and MOST teams schedule a patsy
I meant most "Big" teams. If your a mid level team ( and there's many) there aren't many patsies to find anymore because of the parity. It used to be ALOT easier to get these situations.GL all

#14 Posted: 10/5/2009 5:45:56 PM Posted: 10/5/2009 4:54:18 PM Mississippi State (vs. Houston)- it applies but Houston Off coming off a loss..... Illinois (vs. Michigan State)- could be worth a look but new QB at ILL..... Iowa (vs. Michigan)-N/A- Minnesota (vs. Purdue)-N/A Texas Tech (vs. Kansas State)-Could be a look Kansas (vs. Iowa State)- Ouch, I liked KU too Virginia Tech (vs. Boston College)-N/A Washington State (vs. Arizona State)-possible Louisville (vs. Southern Mississippi)-No line yet Colorado State (vs. Utah)-possible Tulane (vs. Marshall)-small #-possible Central Michigan (vs. Eastern Michigan)-possible-( I loved C Mich too) Toledo (vs. Western Michigan)-possible ( again I loved Toledo) Akron (vs. Ohio)-possible Buffalo (vs. Gardner-Webb)-off Kent State (vs. Bowling Green)-possible
Gotta look at this. The man may have already taken this into his thought process with the Toledo and C Mich lines, they SHOULD have been higher, IMO. We'll see.GL all

#16 Posted: 10/5/2009 9:39:28 PM Under other circumstances, Wash St would be a play here, but they have sooo many injuries and been beat up so badly lately, I couldnt play them with any confidence. Those are the ones to find though. (They'll probably beat A St on the field, cuz I'm not playin them!!) LOL

#18 Posted: 10/5/2009 10:03:57 PM On the "Watch" list- 'Dogs - ( boy are they!)
Miss "St ake"- They can score, evidenced by the 31vs GT and 26 vs LSU Illini-QB change for the better? Colo St- Can they hang with a "rebuilding" Utah team? A viable dog Kent-Rivalry game-Both terrible Akron-Rivalry, but Ohio hung with the "big boys", Akron didnt ! Only if Jacquemain's back Tulane-Why are either giving Pts?
I'm gunna look some more, dont see any thing too solid. I'll do the favs tomorrow. Watchin this beautiful OVER on MNF! Gl all

#23 Posted: 10/6/2009 2:59:19 PM jackal, I'm on Akron already. This is their first "true" homecoming game since 1939 (they just opened their new stadium on campus this season). I don't think Jacquemain will be playing, but I still like the Zips here. Looks like the backup QB got the rust and kinks worked out against Indiana, he played well (by well I mean no INT's) vs CMU last week. |

#25 Posted: 10/6/2009 3:07:26 PM I'm gunna do the favs later, I really dont see one that would apply to the angle though. But we still have another month or so of HCs. This has worked well for me in the past, you just have to get the right spots. That Akron info is cherry (like that kind). WE KNOW nothing is foolproof, but EVERY litle bit helps in the world of "Points and Half Points"!!! GL all
