WVU at Auburn

Get the Tigers while you can at -6.5!
 
I am a student at Auburn and have bet (small) on the tigers in the first two games but this will be a large (for me) bet. Auburn dominated State more than the 25 point margin of victory showed. OCGM has the O working very well. RB Ben Tate gaind 150+ yards this week and didn't play a down in the first quarter. I believe that the players will not forget the melt down last year at WV. That melt down helped me cash in on WV last year. This year it is the tigers who will cash it in.

Trackem...sorry...Have you watched any video on their QB...he looks pretty good...Still not sold on our defense..we play soft cushion and Noel is going to be tough...I see a shootout..something like 38-31...either way...

auburncaddy - our D gets to chase Mccalebb in practice. I think that is a pretty good comparison to Noel. Yes. I see a shoot out too...for the first half. Auburn has only given up 7 points in the second half this (young) year.

WV is very under rated this year and that is when they are most dangerous.  They allowed 20 + points to a Miss St team, which shows their d is not where it is supposed to be.  Brown has looked like a true general in the first two weeks managing the offense and Devine is one of the most dangerous backs in the league.

payne -  you can say the same for AU being under rated. 7 of the 24 allowed was a blocked punt and 7 was with some (not all) second teamers in on D. I don't like them giving up 24 points either BUT, like I said, only 7 points have been given up in the second half. DC Roof and HCGC have made good adjustments at the half. Devine does worry me but Auburn has seen people as fast as him...McCalebb

CORRECTION: Auburn has given up 10 points in the second half this year. 3 to La. Tech in the 3rd and 7 to MSU in the 4th.

devine scorched auburn last year and now they have a better defense than last year and I just think Brown will be the difference

One of MSU's touchdowns last week was a blocked punt and the other was in the 4th quarter when Auburn had the game under control up 42-17

wva muffed two punts inside hier own 10 to gift wrap 10 points to a pretty good ecu team.the game was no where as close as the final score indicated.west virginia with brown has shown the ability to streatch the field which will openn things up for devine and austen.think there arealot better games on the board than this one.see it going either way.gl on the restr of your picks.

I like WVU in to cover and win the game.

WVU essentially gave ECU almost all of their points with a few bad special teams plays and turnovers.  They also gave up a last second  TD in their 1st game with back ups playing.

I just dont see Auburn driving against WVU's D consistently.  They can stop the run and will put pressure on Todd which will hurt the passing game.

WVU's offense can pass this year with Brown.  And Devine put up 200 yards against Auburn last year on 17 carries I believe.

I guess that is why they play the game. Sounds like Devine is going to "torch" Auburn again this year.

I doubt he puts up 200 yards again...

I think it will be a good game either way.

I'm taking WVU...but, what do I know I'm only 10-8 so far...

I am also a student here at Auburn. Great time to be a tiger. This will be the last week to be able to bet on Auburn. ESPN has said nothining about Auburn so far which has helped us stay under the rader. After a win against WV we will be in the top 25 and the lines will become a lot sharper. Over will also be a great bet in this game with our hurry up style of play. It does make me want to hit you in the face for betting against us last year.  Never bet against your team.

I"m a HUGE Auburn fan but I'm always scared to bet on their games because it's hard to stay unbiased.  I hope they kill WVA!

FYI Auburn was real banged up on defense missing several starters LY and I expect their defense to play much better this time around.  Also, Auburn had just fired OC Tony Franklin and  Steve Ensminger was handed the play calling duties. Ensminger called plays like "ask corso" on NCAA '10

Auburn is playing with a new found attitude and I like them this week to cover big. At home this won't be close.

I understand all of the problems Auburn had last year...it was all over ESPN and the Auburn message boards...

But, WVU had the same problems with a new coach and a transition to a new offense.

WVU is now more balanced this season.  They wont run the ball if the box is loaded and they dont have to with Brown being a much better passer than White ever was...

WVU doesnt huddle, so it's offense is fast paced also...

I just think it's going to be a closer game than some of you think.  Auburn is a tough place to play, but WVU has more than enough weapons to be able to hang with and beat the Tigers.

i think its hilarious that everyone thinks gene has resurrected the program.....  They have played no one yet and still do not have a qb..
 
The differenece in this game is the qb position
