I don't think the betting public that used to play FSU every week still has any money left in their bank... so they could not move the line .5 point if everyone of them all placed their FSU wagers at the same coordinated time...

I think Max Hall "jacory harris"es the Noles here late. Not sold on "Mickey Andrew's defense" yet as I think they play out of coverage way too much and over persues. Having said that, I like Christian Ponder to keep the Noles close in this one.
 
I'm leaning on taking the points here.

I feel like BYU can win this one in front of a HYPED-UP home crowd with ease. They're coming back from 2 big wins on the road, and they're in the top 10. Their offense really has some white boys that are beasts and go super hard. Their defense likewise.

The ONLY way FSU keeps this game close is if they play flawlessly or BYU just totally screws up badd in the beginning. I don't think either of these will happen. I'll pull BYU to cover as a lean.

FSU has a great defense, BYU will fold and it wouldnt shock me if they lose by DDs in the game.

BYU giving 6.5 to 7 points to the Noles! The Noles when a 3.5 to a 10 point dog are a great bet. The Noles speed will be the deciding factor. BYU is a good team they will be tested by the Noles. Look for the upset by the Noles in Provo!

I didn't see a great defense in the Miami game....maybe I'm wrong but I thought their defense looked marginal at best.

Max Hall sucks as QB, no way can I back that guy against a good defense.

Run it to +7.5 so I can bet even more.

BYU is not Miami, even though Miami isnt that great, BYU beat Okie without Sam and Okie has a terrible defense, then they beat a cream puff.

I like my chances on the +7 even though I really dislike betting on FSU normally.

So who is better Max Hall vs. Oklahoma or Ponder vs. Miami?

Which defense is better BYU or FSU?

First off, I wouldn't argue taking the +7
 
BYU beating a cream puff is considerably more impressive than FSU rallying to beat a cream puff (albeit a creampuff with Perilloux at QB).
 
Keep in mind BYU knocked Bradford out of the game....he wasn't missing from the start.  In my mind there is a difference there.

OU's defense is very mediocre
 
In the end I honestly think the line is about where it should be. The Mountain West is proving to be a very capable league and can more than hold it's own with the BCS conferences. It's not like the spread should be lower in my opinion. I'm not going to be on this game on either side.
 
In my opinion I think a good case could be made for playing either team.

Really? I would say over the last four or five years that FSU has been decidedly mediocre in situations like this and frankly well below average considering the expectations of the program.

FSU has not had a great run of success going on the road against high quality opponents for a number of years.
