Illinois/Mizzu opinion??

ok I see alot of people picking Illinois in this matchup and I just can't see why.. 

I live in Big10 land and I have not been impressed by the Illinois for quite some time now.  Most teams in the pac10 just can't respond properly to an explosive offense.  So If someone has a pretty good opinion on why Ill. even wins this.. please help me out.  Otherwise I gotta go ML on Mizzu.

I think it comes down to Mizzou losing their big 3 (Chase, Macklin, Coffman) and IL returning their important starters to offense that was pretty decent last year

Mizzou losing Chase was a good thing for them. Gabbert will impress tomorrow afternoon. With that said, Maclin and Coffman hurts the Mizzou offense tremendously. The offense has some good athletes filling in those rolls, but they dont compare to Macklin and Coffman. Mizzous D will be better, Witherspoon is everywhere. I will taking Mizzou and the points. Cannot pull trigger on ML though.

Gabberts better than we think Mizzou will upset Illinois, well i won't call it an upset Mizzou wins. I also like the points.

This is always a great game and I will be their again in the dome which is a great place to see a game !! I am neither a Mizzou or Illni fan so I usually pull for the team I bet on which has been Mizzou in the recent past. This is always a game of who scores more points or the last team to have the ball and score. I have never seen any defense played in this match up over the years which make for a exciting game. On paper you have to think Illinois has the more play makers. I think 6 1/2 is to many to give but if there is going to be a blow out it will be by Illinois ! So Illinois should blow them out or win a high scoring game by a feild goal. I will be play it safe and take Illinois and over in a 7 pt teaser. One thing for sure this game is always a blast to attend.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I see both teams coming out nervous.  Take the under and thank me later.

I like the points.. I'll probably take the ML small for the value..  I've watched Illinois far to many times and they're never consistent.  Seeing that I have this game capped as a pick..  I'll take Mizzu

Mizzou has a walk on freshman at tight end who can flat out play. watch for #89.
