The strong interior linemen return (Weston, Owens, Atkins), but they're still week at the DE spot.  Justin Houston looks good, but he's suspended for this and the SCAR game.  Damarcus Dobbs is just ok, but neither he nor any of the other DE's on the roster look like dominating pass rushers, which is what we need to put pressure on the OSU backfield.  The LB's are beasts, but the entire backfield has to make significant improvement from last year to avoid getting flat-out embarrassed by OSU's receivers.

Bryan Evans looked good in the spring game at safety, but he's always looked good... right up until the point where he over-persues the wrong receiver and gets torched on the deep route.

The bottom line is that there are a lot of question marks on Georgia's defense, and if those aren't addressed, the 'pokes could easily put up 40+ points.  I don't think Georgia scores any more than 28-35 points in this game, so they have to find a way to give up less points than that on defense.  Stopping Dez Williams, Zac Robinson, and Kendal Hunter is easier said than done... that's like our Stafford/Knowshon/MoMass combination we just lost. 

It will be a close game, and could go either way.  If the UGA defense doesn't step up, it could easily be 49-28 OSU.  If the offense doesn't step up, it could easily be 49-10 OSU.  If both sides of the ball step up and play to their potential, though, I think it could also be 35-14 UGA.  What's more likely is that the score will be very close to the line... 3 points either way.

My prediction: 24-21 UGA.
