Well, well, well, the time has arrived when i have a few minutes before the normal chaotic countdown to kickoff. And today I actually have a play that not only the numbers point towards, but which I like as well. Since this is a close contest between two teams who were aspiring for better bowls, I can't imagine everyone will be on board.
This is a classic tale of a ranked opponent who lost their chances for an undefeated season versus another unranked opponent who lost the chance to win their conference and better their bowl. Both teams were heavy favorites in their league championship game and both lost. Both teams can put up insane offensive performances and give up some hefty numbers to opposing defenses. So what should one do in this situation?
Let's just follow the trends. In this bowl season, EVERY unranked team that has played a ranked opponent has LOST. LSU beat Gtech, Vanderbilt beat BC, and Arizona beat BYU. I think this trend continues here as Tulsa will take a hatchet to Ball St. in a shootout that will see Tulsa score into the 40's. Both teams have great offenses but at the end of the day, I think Tulsa is just too much. The majority of players out here are on Ball St. and I think it's just the hype, as the SMART money is coming in on Tulsa, keeping the line pretty neutral.
i do think this game will go over, something we have seen few games do in this bowl season. I'm thinking an entertaining game will be on hand and I'm hoping that Tulsa will not only be victorious, but win by 10-13 points to prove my legacy lol. Strong winds, strorms, etc....not worried about it. I think Tulsa gets it done and I think an entertaining turnover filled game will ensue.
Oh, and in the NBA, not sure how the O/U in the NYK and OKC game is only 214. No defense going to be played in this one. I'd be on the OVER, but then again, what do i know ;).
As usual, good luck to all....hope to get some feedback from you guys and enjoy the caviar.

Guys, I posted in LV2LA's other thread about the weather. The front just came through where I live and the whole thing lasted 15 minutes and is now winds of 5 to 10 mph and a very light rain. In other words I do not believe the weather is going to be a factor and if so it won't be for very long.
Better yet my local got pounded on the under in anticipation of the weather and I got in on the OVER 69. lol Loving it.

seriously, please don't EVER come into my thread and talk about the progress of a game until it is completed. positively or negatively. i am EXTREMELY superstitious and I think that positive karma will have a longer lasting effect than negative. so I like to just post the information and let the playing speak for itself. i watched the game out of the corner of my eye, was really unbelievable that the game did not over. loads of missed FT's and turnovers and absolute confusion offensively. i can't believe the Knicks actually lost the game but OKC has no idea how to close out games...it's not the first time they've done that.
sorry guys about the loser but Tulsa will win this one easily. the rain cost people the OVER imo so i hope some of you saw that and hedged.
not to mention, i'm not even sure anyone is reading these posts...
