Why is WVU laying points at Pitt?

seriously...have i missed something?

does the Mustache have two brothers he brought on as coordinators this week that i dont know about?

revenge in this rivalry is ridiculous...i dont think WV hates pitt anymore than they before last year's loss. both are out of contention for the BE championship

someone help me understand this line and why this game is friday at noon instead of saturday night

Friday @ noon cuz with everyone watching while the ladies are shopping makes sense and WVU is starting to hit their stride. May be too late but I say WVU covers this week. Pitt has played well but I see Da Stache losing this one by 10. GL

They set the time for this game ages ago.  Indeed, I was going to buy Pitt season tickets (like $100) just to have seats for this one until I heard they were playing at noon.  Even I can't drink at 10:00am any more. 
 
Pitt plays worse at home, and there will probably be nearly as many Mountie fans there as ones for the homeboys.  Was pretty sure WVU was the play, but am beginning to waver.  I see McCoy has announced he's coming back, which might give the 'thers an nice emotional bump.

i saw the mccoy thing also maine

pitt for a noon friday play is probably where i'll go although i HATE rivalry week. i dont think anyone ever wins during rivalry week

i'm on Pitt too.  don't understand the WV love around here.  Pitt matches up perfectly wtih WV---as demonstrated last year.  and once you force Pat White to throw, its over.
 
revenge is the most overrated angle to bet a team and is the only reason i think people are betting WV.

It is understandable that WVU is laying -3 but I also think that Pitt can win outright.

Pitt is the Play here.  Coach Stewart of WVa is worth a negative 6 points to his team.  His assistants also look confused very often. I believe WVa has one of the poorest coaching staffsi College Football.

KOAJ - As you know, the Stache is the Stache...we have to know when to take and when to fade.
 
Take = at USF +14, at ND +4.5, vs. Ville -6
 
Fade = at Cincy +6, BG -14, etc...
 
So the question is: Is it time to take or fade...?

Pat White is on Fire right now and Should Run for 125+ on the Panthers ..I think West Va scotes 34+ 63% of the time  
 
West Virgina is still alive for the BE... They are playing at 12  noon Est and so is Cincinnati vs Syracuse.... The Orange losers will bring their best game ... 
 
Remember this is the Same Panthers Team that Made Jimmy Clausen look great ///// also Mike Teels threw 6 TD's on this D... U at Buffalo looked good vs Pitt...
 
Revenge is a HUGE factor ... I think The West VA D will be all over McCoy...

I don't mean to oversimplify this, but Pitt is a much better team than last year.  WVU is a much worse team than last year.  Everyone remembers what Pitt was able to do last year in Morgantown.  Stache always plays better as a dog - we all know that.  Pitt +3.5 for me.

Yes, but which team passes for less than 90 ypg on the road?  That's right, the road fave...WVU.  This is the kind of team that Pitt devours.  They can focus on the run with no threat of a passing game...i.e. Navy.

because WVU is a better team with better talent.

wether WVU plays well like they did against Auburn or wether they come out asleep in the first half like they did against Cinci is yet to be seen.

BUT.. on paper.... WVU with Pat White and a good Def is a far superior football team.

of course the same was true last year when WVU lost at home as 28 point favs

my numbers show that Pitt should actuall be favored by 3 after factoring in HFA.  I will take the 6.5 points and like the home dog here.  It is tought to throw my hard earned money on the stache though.  BOL
