Week 14: 0-0
Bibendi Specials: 10-2
Ok I'm going to try something new this week. I feel I do better when I spend a bunch of time on one game and then do a big writeup. That would explain my % being around 75 on the weekdays and 55 on the weekends. So everyday until Saturday I will post 2 write-ups for Saturday games as well as the weekday games. I think this way we will get better discussion and a more profitable week. A couple games I'm looking at currently....
Bowling Green -2(almost locked)
Ball St. -10.5
Miami(OH) pk
Arkansas +4.5
Boise St. -20.5
Miami -1.5
UVA +8.5
Texas Tech -20
Nevada -3.5
Tulsa -14(almost locked)
Alabama -14
Kentucky +4.5
Oregon St. -3.5(almost locked w/ hook)
13 games I'm really going to study hard. If you guys have anything you think I'm missing let me know and I'll take a closer look Really want to make some money this week |

#3 Posted: 11/25/2008 1:16:15 AM Rivalry game. Tough call. Line will go up for sure though. So if you like it I would jump on it. Probably will end up 8.5 or 9 before gametime |

#6 Posted: 11/25/2008 1:23:37 AM Is there a concern for Oregon St as RB Jacquizz Rodgers is questionable with shoulder injury? |

#7 Posted: 11/25/2008 1:30:05 AM I really doubt Quizz will be missing the Civil War. Smells like a little coaching trick to me. Will definitely look into it further though football007 |

#9 Posted: 11/25/2008 2:04:17 AM like the boise pick a lot. think they should be able to get about 5-6 ypc on these guys. i think this fresno team is about 80% public perception, i feel they have been over hyped since the close game they had against USC a few years back, seems like people just really like putting money on these guys.
another one that jumped out a bit to me was GT +9. seems like the bulldogs defense has been playing pretty well and this is a bit of a challenging offense to stop. also i feel like GT defense has been playing pretty well. add in the fact its an in state rival and i think taking the points looks pretty good, any thoughts? like the idea of big write ups on 2 saturday games a day, i feel like if i spent more time focusing on just a few games instead of trying to hit so many i could do better, not to mention you've been hitting about 97% on these weekday games. BOL this week. maybe a ball state special 3rd week in a row?

#10 Posted: 11/25/2008 2:06:56 AM think this line seems short at 10.5. they just spotted CMU 7 in CMU. now @ home only laying 3.5 more. but western michigan isn't a bad team by any means, will be looking forward to your write up

#12 Posted: 11/25/2008 4:30:34 AM Lots of game there Bibendi, Teams I already got same as you.
Oregon St -3 (really tough at home )
Boise -21 (money machine for me all your long)
T Tech (piss as hell after lost)
I got W Michigan +10.5 ( their offense is just as good but recieving much less notice)
I also like
FL -16 to beat up on FSU
Buff -9 (Kent St Defense blow, I know Buff have nothing to play for)
Wvu -3 (Tailing Double)
Fl Atlantic -4.5
BOL to you Bibendi, except for Ball St though |

#13 Posted: 11/25/2008 4:35:49 AM Looking and leaning at your picks
Bowling Green (they look good in the lost week)
Nevada ( show lots of heart coming back against Boise)
Virgina +8.5 ( V Tech offense is bad , Virgina score 7 pts might be enough)

#14 Posted: 11/25/2008 4:38:26 AM Dude, I can't get over the fact that I capped the Ball St game at -23 (I got 20.5 earlier, but has now changed). I've been doing very decent this year and my capping has not been off by much. In this matchup I get that Ball St should be favored by 20-23... that is, a 10-12.5 point difference! I see that a lot of the cappers that I respect are on W.Michigan, and that is what has me confused. I hope you decide on Ball St, cause that'll give me some peace of mind... |

I have been following UGA Football for 20+ years now and it's going to be a major struggle to even win the game. UGA has won this game the past 7 years, but Paul Johnson has his team playing way above expectations. Plus the whole nation seems to follow the thought (with good reason) that UGA has been overated to say the least. However, UGA has lost 18 folks this year due to injury and still managed to only loose 2 games.
I'm with you Landis as this game should not be a 9 point game. I'm leaning towards GT as well. |

#20 Posted: 11/25/2008 10:06:34 AM Bib here are my leans AGREE or DISAGREE
Bowling Green -2(almost locked)
Ball St. -10.5
Miami(OH) pk
Arkansas +4.5
Boise St. -20.5
Miami -1.5
UVA +8.5
Texas Tech -20
Nevada -3.5
Tulsa -14(almost locked)
Alabama -14
Kentucky +4.5
Oregon St. -3.5(almost locked w/ hook)
My two disagreements are due to the fact that these teams are traveling to two of the toughest places in college football. Marshall and Oregon both have pretty large homefield advantages. Tulsa is making the dreaded travel east.
These are all my initial imressions but haven't looked at the matchups in depth at all. I'll dig in more this week but there are some definite winners.
Two games I liked for this week are: Akron +2.5 and Central Michigan -10. Seems like we have watched enough MAC games this year to get a good feel for these guys. |

#22 Posted: 11/25/2008 10:38:47 AM D to the P Oregon State is at home this week where they're currently 5-0. I don't see them slipping to Oregon at home. OSU rolls.

#24 Posted: 11/25/2008 11:07:17 AM BIB- YOU HAVE HELPED ME A LOT THIS YEAR.....HOWEVER, I DO NOT AGREE WITH THE ALABAMA GAME. I AM FROM BIRMINGHAM AND THE "IRON BOWL " IS A HUGE RIVALRY. I KNOW AUBURN IS NOT THAT GOOD THIS YEAR BUT THEY HAVE A NEW QB THAT PLAYS ALOT LIKE THE KENTUCKY QB.
WATCH OUT FOR THIS GAME!
TAKE THE POINTS |
