#1 Posted: 11/15/2008 1:33:57 AM AS MANY OF YOU FOLLOW..I DONT POST MANY GAMES..BUT WHEN I DO...YOU CAN TAKE IT TO THE BANK..I HAVE FOUND THE ONE GAME I AM PLAYING THIS WEEKEND...
MARSHALL 41 CEN FLA 17
Not gonna give to much write up...you just want a winner..
thletic director Keith Tribble said he was concerned about the
Knights (2-7, 1-4), who have the worst offense in college football, but
not ready to make a change.
"The only thing I can tell you is that as the athletic director, I
anticipate sitting down with Coach O'Leary after the season and
evaluating the program," he told the Orlando Sentinel. "I owe it to
Coach O'Leary to talk about it and figure out how we can continue
building this program."
WHEN YOUR ATHLETIC DIRECTOR SAYS THIS..ITS A PRETTY GOOD BET THERE WILL BE A NEW COACH NEXT SEASON.
LOCKER ROOM FIGHTING AT CFU...PLAYERS SKIPPING PRACTICE..AND THE STAFF DOING NOTHING...COACHES MISSING MEETINGS..ITS BAD AT CFU..
I can only say I do have inside info and while the players will be on the field..very few will be giving the extra effort to keep coach O'Leary around...
For what its worth.
MEMPHIS IS BEST PLAY OF WEEKEND

#4 Posted: 11/15/2008 1:38:32 AM Typo I am sure, but UCF doesn't get around to Memphis till NEXT weekend.
Shame about O'leary, he got them excited about ball in Orlando. Oh well, every Florida program has to have it's share of ghetto growing pains. O'leary will be lucky to get out before a player gets murdered or home invaded.

What's scary about O'leary. He probably would still be the coach at Notre Dame!! |

#10 Posted: 11/15/2008 1:44:53 AM I don't think I can buy your reasoning...unless you're close to the program, and that's not the case. The pick looks fine, but give me something other than the AD is going to have talk with the coach. |

#12 Posted: 11/15/2008 1:46:03 AM McLovin' the Marshall play!!
The Golden Knights are wayyyyy down from last year and have been just awful on the road. Meanwhile, Marshall has quietly played pretty good ball over the last few weeks and should score a ton of points on that weak UCF defense!

Aside from the UTEP game (which I STILL can't wrap my head around) UCF D has played well.
All that said, Marshall at home would be my play as well.

Do you have a kid playing there? It sounds like you might, but anyone that had a kid there...you'd think they would know that it's "UCF" and not "CFU". I'm not trying to bust your nuts here...just trying to justify the pick...it looks good, I probably won't be it, but everyone else might throw some money around, if you know what I mean. |
