It's never been my style to mess with the teasers, however for the last several "one game only" nights like Sundays, Mondays, and Fridays I have been fooling with the two team six point teasers.
Phil @ Dal: over 47 (hit in the second qtr) and Phil +12.5
Dal @ GB: Dal +3 and under
NYJ @ SD: SD -2 and over
USC @ OSU: over 46.5 and OSU +30.5
Think back to these games and think how easliy you could have sat back and watched as your bet was a locked winner. Again, this has never been my style before, but a winner is a winner.
Tonight I really like Louisville and will play them straight up as well, but the under also caught my eye, especially at 58 with the 6 pt teaser. Both teams like to run the ball, which chews up the clock and is the key to hitting any under bet. Not to mention that both teams excel at stopping the run, which again should keep the runs to shorter gains taking chuncks of 30+ seconds off per play. The less plays, the less possesions, the less opportunities to score become.
Make it easy tonight:
6 pt Teaser:
L'ville +2.5
Under 58

Don't you think both coaches realize that they are up against good running defenses and will rely more on a fast paced aerial attack. I know its not exactly John Elway vs Marino but still....common sense. You have to mix it up. Last years script was run...this years might be pass.

I believe that in the fourth quarter one team (possibly UCONN) will need to air out the ball, however if that's the case then they are probably down a decent bit. Neither team will let it loose in a close and conservative game. L'ville is more balanced, but Uconn must run the ball or they will have no chance to win. Generally these games take a while to heat up, so if you can get an under 10 point first qtr, you would have up to 47 points to give up in 3 qtrs to still hit the teased under.
