Hey everyone,

I'm back and ready to inflict some damage on the feeble books. I had to take a day off yesterday as there were no playable games for me but there should be a few on today's card. I just looked over the slate and I've got nothing until the 7 pm games, but I should definitely have some picks on these later in the afternoon. In the mean time, I wish everyone the best of luck!

An absolute bargain of a price. I feel like the Tigers will begin to get over the hump after last night and today they have all the matchups in place to do so. Baker is a nuclear spill waiting to happen against the Tigers (XERA close to 9 against them) while Robertson is very solid against the Twins (XERA around 3.5 against them the last 3 years.) There is more to this matchup, but this is enough to let you know Detroit is a major play.

By the way, all plays risk 2 units.

I am really impressed with the books swinging the line this much in the Rays' favor, but folks, it's not enough. This will pull in all the squares on the Yankees side but trust me, the Rays are the play. Tampa simply has Pettitte's number the last few years while Jackson has come into his own. Even if you take the horrid Jackson of recent seasons into consideration, he has always been decent against the Yanks. I love the Rays lineup right now w/ Longoria while the Yanks in absolute trouble at catcher with Chad Moeller.

That's it for the 7 pm games. I'm starting to get pissed with the lack of betting ops recently, but what can you do. Like I keep saying, I will never force it. I should have a pick or two for the later games.

"Dempster is pretty decent" you say. How does a 7.13 XERA the last 3 years against the Reds sound to you?

Hey guys, just checked the last two games and I will have to say "no thanks" to both.

The Tigers almost have their game closed out, so that's positive. I did not anticipate Harang have the outing he is having but the Reds have a tremendous offense with lots of baseball left. The Rays can also come back easily as well. Hopefully I can steal one of these two games.

Not the way I wanted to start the week, but only my second losing day on Covers in 8 days. I hope I am allowed to display this rate of error since at the end of the day, I am still human.

Now, this doesn't mean I accept losing or am OK with what happened. I anticipate a lovely rebound tomorrow. I just glanced at the card and I can tell you I will have anywhere between 4 and 7 plays so I'm pumped and hope you will be on board the gravy train. Until then, here's a recap of today.
