I guess the hitting has stopped and their pitching is getting rocked. Even Rivera is pitching like shit

YUP THATS RIGHT. BUT I THINK THEY WIN TOMORROW. WAT A GOOD DOUBLE HEADER TOMORROW. IM AN ANGELS FAN AND IM LEANING TOWARDS THEM BOTH TOMORROW. MORE ON GAME ONE.

That is a crazy ass line for the Yanks game tomorrow. How in the world could you lay -190 against the Tigers ? I know Nate Robinson has been terrible but that line is crazy

I meant to say Nate Robertson, I guess I was thinking about the Nate Robinson in the NBA

I'm still here. But look at it this way. 1 day, the Yanks lost, and the BoSox won. But the Mariners lost, and the Tigers won.
 
The next day, the Yanks lost, the BoSox lost, the Mariners lost, and the Indians won.
 
Which means the Yankees lost no ground except for half a game tonight. So there is not concern. Not many teams can score against Bedard. Everybody knows that Cabrera can be on and off every now and then. He just happened to be on the ball when he faced the Yanks. And then Verlander is normally a very good pitcher who has sucess against the Yanks. But 5 runs doesn't seem like the hitting was shut down to me. Sure Moose wasn't on the ball, but you have to look at this. I know and, ifs and buts don't mean shit, BUT... if A-Rod made that grab, he probably would have turned the double play, and the grand slam would not have occured, and they would have won. But an error is an error,
 
And if you go back in history. Mariano always struggles sometime during August. And everytime he gets back on track. Watch him in his next outing. You don't know everything about the Yankees except what you see in the boxscore and on SportsCenter do you?

Bedard and Verlander are two of the best pitchers in baseball. I don't think they'll panic losing games started by those guys.

They can't play minor league teams forever...
These  is the Real Yankees
 
Maybe next year, they can play ALL their games against Tampa Bay and Kansas City

Mo has the highest ERA of his career right  (except maybe his first or second year when they had him start a few games). He is in more than an august slump, he is clearly on the decline in is career. But I have to admit there are still only a few closers I'd take ahead of him at this pojnt.

The Yankees fans think that he is gonna last forever. I hope Torre keeps pitching him till his arm falls off. I guess Torre is never gonna learn you cant pitch the same pitcher every night. He is killing those Bullpen arms

 manhar, that's what i'm talking about. I like the comment that someone wrote about not being able to bear Bedard/verlander. So the 300 milliion dollar payroll/fans cheer when you whoop on K.c and T.B,  but then when you meet some competion and lose, it's ho hum . I hope to god that the Yankees make the post-season so that i can bet against them. They're soooo overrated, and will get beat by ANY other playoff team, including the red sux, who they won't meet postseason because there's no way that the two most overrated teams in the postseason make their ay out of the first round. ALCS won't have any AL east teams this year

That little run the Yankees had against lesser competition is about to come to an end.  The Tigers are not the Devil Rays, and the Yankees are going to learn a hard lesson during this little stretch.

Thing is you will have to sweep at Yankee stadium to have a chance at catching the Sox. Yanks will not take 2 games when they come to Boston Next Month and the Yanks schedule is harder now

The Yanks can beat anybody. Cashman will never learn that Pitching wins championships, but not 44 year old guys that can only go 6 innings
