This cub team went out and spent tons of money for WHAT? They wasted a ton on that no good for nothing Ted Lilly. This team goes on a little win streak once the St Louis newspaper talked garbage about them.Once they leave St Louis they will go back nonetheless to their losing ways.

Good for nothing Ted Lilly????....you may want to check out how he's pitched this season in the NL.  Once you have done that, please retract your ill-informed statement.

Good for nothing?
He is 5/5 in quality starts
First 5 starts: 2.18 ERA, 0.79 WHIP, .178 BAA.
With a little support, he could be 5-0.
He looks like a steal at this point.

Only time will tell for sure, but so far the money they threw at Lilly and Marquis looks to be money damn well spent.

Exactly.  His 2 losses this year where 1-0 and 2-1.

Toronto wanted to keep him.  Cubs just outbid them.

OK yeah, nobody going to a new team is ever worth the money because someone else let him go.  OK yeah, sure.

Cubs playing well lately... WATCH OUT!

They are a very talented club, no matter how they have underachieved in recent years.
