2-1 yesterday 126-108-12 post all star break (63-49-9 on K's)
1. PHILLY ML(+135) 1st 5
Love this spot. Young 25 yr old Jerad Erckoff takes the bump w/ something to prove on a team w/ nothing to lose. Like this kids #'s in the minors especially recently. Only giving up .4 HR's per 9, a superlow # against the mets who have been eating off long balls recently. It will be much cooler in philly today, I expect less jumping balls.
Like the fact that benches cleared yesterday w/ some back n forth between both teams to add incentive.
An aging/out of shape Bartolo Colon should be experiencing significant wear down at this point in the season. This will be the phills 3rd time seeing him.
Home plate ump is a bit of a squeezer, the phills can sit on fastball when in a favorable count. On the flip side the mets might not get cozy till seeing Jerads stuff the 2nd or 3rd time around.
Staying far away from these taxed bullpens where anything can happen. Hopefully Colon makes an early exit.

Verse Colon and and a taxed bullpen I like the odds. Check the Phillies hitting splits since the break, they are hitting the ball.
4. ARCHER OVER 6.5 K's(-140)*POD*
I'd rather lay this than -190 ML on Rays. Archer is prob may favorite pitcher in the league. Kid is straight nasty and I think he's got the twinkies #. In his last 4 starts against them he's sporting a 0.73 ERA. The twins are going to be pressing here IMO a half game out of the wildcard.
In August the twins are averaging 1 K per 3.92 AB's. Home plate ump rings em up at 16.14 per game.
