Carlos Gomez is NOT in today's lineup. Shane Peterson in my opinion isn't a comparable replacement. Three key components of the bullpen were used yesterday to help Jimmy Nelson out; Blazek, Jeffress and Will Smith. So, they most likely won't be as effective today. Leake was completely embarrassed last time he pitched at home in Cincinatti by almost letting the opponents come back on him when he had a 9 run advantage. I think Leake will perform better. I like what Taylor Jungman has done for the Brewers so far, but he's been needing help after the 5 inning marker. If the Brewers need to go to the bullpen again, the Reds will be more ready for Blazek, Jeffress, Will Smith, and Broxton. The Reds have hammered Cotts in the past so I don't think that's an answer for the Brewers. And it's hard to tell whether Cravy would be effective since Cravy basically pitched mop up duty in game one of this series and got belted. I know the Brewers swept the Phillies, but I don't think the Reds have fallen to that level.
Reds will win.
