NY Mets +112 (harvey vs Strarsburg)
Matt Harvey at + money is all I need to see to take a shot on the Mets in this one. Concern is Harvey is on a strict pitch limit and will not reach 100 pitches in this game, however he's worth this risk. Nats lineup lacking some pop right now.

Detroit Tigers -160 (Greene vs Gibson)
I had a long write up before the season on why the Detroit Tigers O 84.5 wins was the best futures bet on the board. I'll revisit it now, after only two games. Shane Greene, part of the reason I believe the Tigers are such a strong bet. Dombrowski was chewed up by Detroit Media for giving away Doug Fister two years ago, well that has quietly turned into acquiring a very talented SP from the NYY named Shane Greene. His stuff is electric, and is my pick as a dark horse cy young candidate this year. Going up against a weak twins lineup, I like Greene to get off to a strong start this season. Gibson started 5 games against the Tigers last year, pitching one gem and giving anywhere from 3-6 runs in the others. The lineup the Tigers featured last season was fairly weak in comparison to what they're trotting out in 2015. Miggy is healthy, V-mart, JD, Cespedes supply a lot of power 3-6 in the order. Defense is vastly improved, and as a bonus Joe Nathan is on the DL as of today! This line appears to be dropping, so maybe wait until noon to see which direction we're heading. Also, may have a large prop bet on OVER K's for Greene, and also TT under for the twins depending what the numbers come out at. We are expecting heavy storms in the Detroit area tomorrow which may shorten this game, so will need to be cautious with any prop bets. I generally don't like to lay this much juice with any team, but I believe this same matchup in August opens as Tigers -220 or more.

Texas Rangers/ Oakland A's UNDER 7.5 (-120)
I like this kid Graveman the A's are throwing tomorrow, he doesn't do anything fancy and doesn't strike out a lot of batters, he just gets outs. Pitching in Oakland he should have a fairly easy time getting outs, especially against a lineup that isn't packing a lot of power right now. Oakland exploded tonight for 10 runs, and turn around to play an earlier game tomorrow, expect some regular to rest and an offensive hangover from tired batters. Like this play a lot, and also like the A's ML in a smaller play.
