Just to let you know; Boston's John Lackey is 13-2 his last fifteen team-starts vs the Mariners, including 7-0 with a 2.01 ERA his last seven games in Seattle. Might not matter but, Lackey is no chump, and if you think you are getting a Good Price with "The King". Your are wrong.

Yeah, this. I keep seeing all these threads that are taking SEA -150, and I keep thinking, "When are people gonna get sick of paying the juice for Felix's 2-1 and 3-2 losses??" Even Covers's expert Bryan Powers is pounding this game--his free pick of the day and this was the best he could come up with?
Lackey is DEALING right now, and BOS is coming off a sweep-avoiding win at OAK yesterday. I know SEA is 3 in a row with the sweep of KC, but they scored 4 total in the last two, so their offense is not killing it at the moment.
Not saying BOS is gonna win (I faded this one myself), but it's close enough to a flip, imo, that -150 is just ridiculous juice to pay.

Yeah you'd think so, but that O/U of 6 is killin me, I can't do it. When I left for work this morning it was 6.5, and I was still like no way. Guess the gambling public's been pounding the under too though.

Lackey has been tremendous against the Mariners over his career, but wasn't his last start against them in 2012? Sometimes things change when 2 years have passed, etc. That said, I'm sticking with the under that keeps hitting with King Felix (and Lackey) pitch. No runs, no whammies....jackpot!

Yeah finda, I'd take the "no runs 1st inning" bet over any of the other plays. The 1st-five O/U 3 is enticing, too, but scary, cuz one mistake pitch could break your heart on that one, as both lineups have a few boppers.

Look at those numbers..lmao 3 runs in 3 starts vs boston with a complete game and 2 games thru 7. No wonder the total is 6.lol how can you not like the under?

Seattle is an improved team with a very good bullpen (best ERA in the AL). Their offense is just as effective as Boston's and they are sending a better starting pitcher to the mound at home. I like Lackey and wager on him regularly, but to think that -140 for F5 with a CY Young candidate is a bad price just isn't correct.
The Red Sox hitters are hitting a collective .232 with an OPS of .652 off Felix. Only Pedroia and Ortiz have add any success off him. On the other hand, the Mariners hitters are hitting .326 with an OPS of .797 off Lackey. Chavez, Cano, Ackely, and Bloomquist all hit him well. Most of these guys weren't mariners when Lackey had his success vs. Seattle. You are comparing apples and oranges with the W/L record.
Anything can happen tonight, but when you get Felix inside of -150 for F5 you hit it!

for the record. even if the Red Sox win this game (or had won F5 in my case), Felix inside of -150 was a fantastic price. This isn't the same Red Sox team and this is a much improved Mariners team.
we weren't wrong in thinking it was a cheap line… just as many people weren't wrong in hoping a dog pick would pan out for a collection of reasons.
calling people "wrong" bc of outdated stats - yes, the stats you used here were stale and not very meaningful - is poor taste, IMO.
I had OVer 3 runs F5 and Seattle F5… i couldn't care less what happens next, so I hope your bet hits too.
